Decided to change propane company after they showed up then left, with out filling tank. Excuse was "gates were closed" I DO NOT HAVE ANY GATES!!!! Canceled !New company move old tank ( no charge ), so it could be picked up from access road. That was end of Oct 2022. Have called bimonthly to get old tank out of here,still has propane in it, which I was promised to get a refund for. Amerigas still billing me!

Quick history is I fired Amerigas on Oct 25th and they committed to picking up the tank in 30 days as it's sitting on my lawn with 150 gallons still in the tank. I called them at day 30 and they had no record of it needing to be picked up, I escalated it and was told it would be done within 24-48 hours. This has happened now every week or so since late November. Three weeks ago I escalated again and was told they went through some special process which takes 15 business days to pick up.. again no pickup. Just called them today and they said there's no schedule for the pickup and normally they don't do tank pickups in the winter months. Never have I seen such incompetence across the board.

Read the consumer affairs reviews, and better business bureau reviews regarding Amerigas. Amerigas is the absolute worst company!!! They speak of advancing their technology, what they really mean is they contracted out their customer service to foreigners that dont care if you have propane to heat your home, dry your clothes, or cook your food with. If I could give a 0 star rating I would. This company will lie about delivery dates, and charge you for services that will never be rendered. We were even assured by their customer service representative that our payment wouldn't be processed as we never received any gas that we could use. Guess what? They processed our payment anyway, which was UNAUTHORIZED, and we received nothing for the payment. We told them to come pick up their tank and refund us our money, they said they would only offer us a refund AFTER they pick up their tank that is locked and we cannot use!! Good luck getting them to pick up their tank, do you know how many times they didnt honor their own schedule to fill it and then lock it in the first place? My wife and I took several days off of work to wait on technicians that never came... This company should be shut down, BUYERS BEWARE!!! Use any other company, but Amerigas!!!

$735 dollar instal fee. When originally ordering I asked for an itemized list of everything I'd be charged. The instal fee was never mentioned. Customer service rep said I should of assumed there'd be a fee.... still waiting for resolution to get back to me. The worst company ever never again. Been trying to get someone one the phone for over a month and no one seems to be able to do anything about it. Which is odd seeing as it such a big company.

FRAUD BE AWARE!!!!!! I own my tank they illegally stickered my tank and they are claiming they own my tank. I have been fighting for days and nobody can produce any paperwork saying I signed any lease agreements and they can't prove its their tank. I have the paperwork showing its my tank.

Amerigas: They charge you to setup, they charge you a large annual rental, they charge you a lot for propane, they charge you to remove their tank. Nickeled and dimed to death. Moving on like a bad divorce.

Like everyone else on this site, Amerigas has given me the run around about delivering propane. Ordered on the 6th of January and now its the 27th and I still don't know when they will deliver. Ordered at 30% and am now at 12% only because I haven't used propane to heat my home since the 13th. House is 37 degrees except my bedroom and bathroom which I heat with electric space heaters that are dangerous and expensive. AmeriGas has 400 dollars and will not help me. Live everyone else I would give them a negative 10 score.

RUN, RUN, RUN away from this conglomerate that OVER-CHARGES, is a customer service sink-hole w/RUDE AGENTS that will hang up on you, w/out using and four letter words. FIND ANYTHING ELSE!!! Trust us, we have been stuck in their downward spiral for way too long. Will do anything to get away from them, including manually refilling a 100 lb tank until we can find something else.
