Hello Mr. Lydon. We show that your 2020 Ford Ranger was delivered in Florida on 9/21/22. We also show we communicated after delivery. If we somehow have this wrong, please call us as soon as possible.

They provided a price to transport my vehicle. Price kept changing. Said I can have some stuff in vehicle (up to 100 pounds) and it won’t cost extra. Tell me I’m way over weight even though I had less than 100 pounds in vehicle. Delayed shipment

Thank you for the feedback. Regarding pricing, when we quote an estimate we fully explain that the price is somewhat fluid as carriers determine final pricing. No payments are made until this is agreed upon by the customer. Carriers generally allow up to 100 pounds but if it is more the carriers may refuse to haul the vehicle, require things be removed, or they may charge extra. Carriers have legal weight limits to navigate. Unfortunately, the vehicle was indeed a day late beyond the shipping estimates. Weather, traffic, road construction, and other things can delay a vehicle delivery. We are truly sorry it took longer than expected.

Very disappointed! For while the office support was terrific, the overall experience took a real downturn when the mud and snow was washed off: The roof of my Avalon was deeply dented (about one inch deep) on over each back door! I'm guessing it was caused by some mechanically applied straps. The AmeriFreight instructions explicitly state the necessity of walking inspecting your vehicle upon arrrival, but couldn't do much due to the icy conditions on the steep driveway. The snow on the car's roof hid the damage anyway. So only two days later when the snow melted was this VERY OBVIOUS DAMAGE evident. When I called AmeriFreight, the assistant was helpful and optimistic since I'd purchased the extra insurance from them. However, the claim had to first be processed through by my OWN insurance company, and only then would the AmeriFreight insurance apply. So in the midst of selling my house, buying a new house and moving, there was no time for all the extra steps. While I imagine AmeriFreight likely provides EXCELLENT shipping for moving large quantities of vehicles, my experience as a "single car shipment" was MOST UNFORTUNATE.

We are glad that your experience with us directly was terrific. As far as the damage, the reason we stress the inspection is that damage from the carrier is fully covered if noted on the inspection sheet (BOL). In your case you opted for the optional AFTA Gap protection which would have covered you for the discovered damage if it was reported within 48 hours. Our goal is to educate and inform all our customers about what to do, and it sounds like our team did do that here. We hope the rest of your move went well.
