The scammers are charging money for a digital download of the certificate!!! Are they crazy? Shameful and bad business practice, this hidden fee was not disclosed earlier.

I wish I had read the previous reviews prior to buying the course. OMG, horrible horrible horrible experience, the platform, the training material, the worst. AVOID IT.

The American Safety Council is a sham, in my opinion. Their course material is amateurishly written, the web site is painfully cumbersome, and they are impossible to communicate with. My account was locked and I have been trying to reach them for two business days. They do not repsond to their chat system. They don't answer their customer support phone number. And finally, their internal messaging system reports an internet error 404 (directoery not found) and the message will not send. I suggest using AARP or a more reputable service.

Stay away!! They will scam you after wasting 3 hours of ur time saying you need to pay again cuz you've been locked out.. thieves!

DO NOT USE THIS COURSE PROVIDER!! I selected this provider, paid $142.00 for the online course and book. Didn’t get the book for 3 weeks and had to call them (which is no easy feat). I started going through the course and the online material is poor quality and often differs from the state required book. I completed my 60 hours of material and went to do some practice tests only to get a message that the tests had EXPIRED. I never took one single practice test throughout the whole class! I called them only to be told I’d have to pay and additional $79 to access. I decided to just take the final test and failed by 2 points. I studied what I got wrong on the first test and took it a second time. I passed but in reviewing the test at least 8 questions I absolutely knew I selected the correct answer on this test were wrong again. I believe there is some kind of glitch in their tests. I am called the Florida Department of Financial Services today to let them know the experience and problems I’ve had with this provider. Florida should NOT be listing them as a pre-course provider! This is my 3rd insurance license and I’ve used 2 other course providers. All more expensive but we’ll worth it after my experience with the American Safety Council!

While Customer Service tried to be helpful, software was buggy and locked up often quiz given during voice verification. Locked with only option to pay again. Seems to be a scam

This company is in violation of several anti-trust laws-price penetration being one of them by offering one of the lowest prices amongst their competitors. This company is a clear and evident scam that does NOT properly equip the consumer with any proper resources prior to forcing the consumer to answer mandatory quiz questions. Through this, they are fully aware that they are setting up the consumer for failure. Afterwards, they purposefully block the consumers account only to tell them that they only had 3 attempts to pass the quizzes and now must re-pay, re-register, and upgrade to another plan that provides you with unlimited attempts to pass the quizzes. Additionally, another set up tactic is their faulty, extreme, excessive, and intrusive security questions set up with questions with well over 20 security questions. There is also no information on how they safeguard your biometric identity from outside intrusion or any information on how your voice will be stored for safekeeping. There has been over 370 logged complaints with the Better Business Bureau within the last 12 months itself and over 541 complaints within the past 3 years. In addition to 449 negative star ratings on YELP, 54 negative reviews on Trustpilot & 51 complaints on Sitejabber along with other various complaints about their shady business practices.
