In the spring of 2025, I diligently prepared the ground for wildflower seed planting. That first year all I got were cosmos in one section. The second section also produced cosmos much much later. I am in my second year and have been expecting the perennials, Nothing but cosmos in one section and nothing in the other. I am so disappointed.

I ordered 6 plants and received 6 pots with 3 living plants. The other pots had the remains of what may have been a live plant through long dead. I said 2 day shipping and the plants must have been dead long before shipping. Not happy and waiting to hear from them. Linda Borzilleir

Do not buy any seeds from American Meadows! All they are is 95% weeds. Years ago they used to be legitimate with their seeds. Now this is nothing but a scam beyond scam.

I ordered Tubers, they arrived dry and dead. I took pictures and sent them. Their AI bot responded quickly, then Mollie informed me they would replace them. I was excited to receive the replacement, quickly grabbed my digging tools, opened the bag, and to my surprise, those were also dry and dead. I sent pictures again. The AI bot was on it, responding quickly. Then Mollie informed me that since I received a replacement, I would not be compensated. They essentially stole my money. Please save your self the time. Order from someone else.

Plants came dead. Two out of four dead - one was a $17. plant. The two survivors were tiny. Won't order from here again.

I've ordered many iris from American Meadows.. only one wasn't what I ordered. Two years it took to get it to bloom. I called them and they instantly jumped on replacing it. They didn't have the exact one I ordered... But I got one even more beautiful!! I give them a 100 out of 100 and would definitely order from them again!!!

Plants were suspect. A couple of them looked much too small, and had barely any roots, like a newborn infant that can't keep their head up (they didn't make it). maybe 40-50% of them appeared healthy and had a chance of actually taking root and flourishing, but for the price I paid, it's too low. I ordered Milkweed from American Meadows. It was a month before they shipped it. 10 days ago it was shipped. I havent recieved the order. Followed the tracking (USPS). its been travelling around the country! I called the USPS - they have no idea what is going on. I called American Meadows - now twice. First person I spoke to could not help me - told me "to call them tommorow". Called today as instructed, person tried to tell me "it would be delivered today". Except the local USPS said they have no idea where it is and its not going to be delivered today if ever. Person places me on hold for several minutes, final states "they will send out another package" then places me on hold yet again! 8 minutes of hold time. Finally told me "the new order will be sent USPS ground in 2-5 working days". These folks didnt even apologize! Clearly not a professionally run business. I have ordered from AM previously with the same slow shipping but no issues. This however will be the end of dealing with them for me.
