Never has caveat emptor been more necessary~!
I ordered a "Premium" chair mat from them, based on what their chart recommended. Firstly, it was shipped rolled up, and took a full five days to flatten out to where I could even put it in place. Another two days to where I could put a chair on it, since they say they "aren't responsible" for anyone not adhering to the unrolling/placement instructions. Secondly, the very first time it was used divots were formed where the chair wheels are; these divots make it virtually impossible to roll around on the mat, since the chair stays in these pits! I contacted the company who told me that the depressions that the chair can make is NOT a manufacturer defect, despite their website stating that a Premium mat is a certain thickness to provide both carpet protection and the ability to roll around with ease. I was told I could ship it back, but at my own expense and with a 25% restocking fee. Buyer, beware--paying a ridiculously high price from this US based company does NOT guarantee a good product....but does guarantee poor customer service and disappointment! Shame on you, American Floor Mats......
