These guys are shysters. Don't believe their prices. Anything you order, they will call and tell you it doesn't have battery, it's not the US model, etc. They will up sell you so that the product you're ordering ends up costing more than you can get it at a dozen other places. Their shipping takes forever. Please do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. It was a harrowing experience buying at $3,000.00 Canon camera from them.

Stay away! Misleading advertisement
They advertised Canon 5D Mark III for $2090 which is over $500 cheaper than anywhere else I can find. I called them up to confirm this is true. The answer I got was this is an imported model made in China (I had no idea China makes these!) and he would not recommend buy it. Then he went on trying to sell me a Japanese made model for much higher price than other retailers. There is obvious something fishy about how this company conduct business, and I would recommend anyone consider buying anything suspiciously cheaper items to call and confirm what you are going to get, such as is the item new, made for US market, comes with all accessories and warranty etc..

This is not a legitimate company
I ordered a camera from America cameras. Three days went by and a salesman called to "verify" my order. I should have known the price was too good to be true. He said no cameras come with a battery and up-sold me a battery and warranty. Two weeks passed and I didn't get a tracking number so I finally called and they said it had just shipped. The nest day I finally got a tracking number. The camera that arrived had obviously been opened with the bags taped shut with some masking tape. The viewfinder was broken. No warranty came and the battery was the standard manufacturer battery so they were just lying. When I asked for my money back, they said it would be a 15 percent restocking fee. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and I ally got my money back. Customer service is terrible. It takes forever to get someone on the phone and if you are complaining they will put you on hold forever. This is not a legitimate company. These people are fraudsters.

scam.....stay away....save you money and time
I ordered canon T4i two months ago. After two months of calling they told me that the camera has discontinued and cancel my order, yes after two months. After putting bad review they called me and told me that they can ship same camera directly from canon if I pay $100 more and remove my review. After removing my review and agreeing to pay $100 more they just sent me couple of cheap accessories and no camera. Called the again and camera again is in back order and they hung up on me. Worse customer service. very rude. save your time and money

Don't Fall for the Bait and Switch at America Cameras!
I purchased a Canon 5D Mark III camera and 15mm-85mm lens on 9/21/14. They then called me on 9/22/14 to inform me that the camera I was purchasing was not the US version, but rather an import version without the Canon warranty. They basically performed a bait and switch on the camera. The US version of the camera happened to be significantly more money than the import version. When I told them that the website page where I purchased the camera made no mention of it being an import model, they indicated that the page would have stated it was the US model and also pointed out that the page indicated that there was no warranty included with the camera. They further indicated that the body types for each model were different--the US version being a magnesium alloy body and the import version being something different. I then informed them that the website description for the product body on the so-called import version was exactly the same as the US version. They followed up by saying the website would be fixed in 5 minutes. It is fixed now but I wonder how many other people were misled by that.
Against my better judgment, I went ahead and purchased the US version of the camera and lens. Then a whole week went by and I never received a tracking number. During that time I happened to come across some disturbing information regarding the lens I purchased. The lens, according to Canon's website, is not compatible with the Mark III camera. Being camera experts, I expect them to know what lenses go with what camera. I called them on Sunday, 9/28/14 to cancel my order. They stated that the camera had already shipped. I said that I would return it when I received it so they quickly made some accommodations on my order to keep me as a customer, and offered the correct lens at a reduced price to the suggested retail price. But to purchase the correct lens for the camera would cost me $250 more. Again I went against my better judgment and purchased the new lens.
On Monday, September 27th, I called to get the tracking number for the camera. They then indicated that it had not shipped, yet the day before when I tried to cancel my order they indicated that the package had shipped! They then assured me that I would get a tracking number via email no later than Friday, October 3, 2014. So here we are today, October 3, 2014 AND THERE IS NO TRACKING NUMBER IN MY EMAIL. I have also checked my spam folder.
Their customer service is so bad that I have contacted my credit card company to stop payment. I do not believe that they have shipped the product nor intend to ship the product. If by some miracle I do receive the product, I will return it to them with the shipping box unopened.

The Worst Customer Service Ever
I contacted customer support and found that they put me on hold for an hour! I wouldnt mind the wait time if they would not keep saying that my camera I continually gets delayed on the shipment time. One whole month to ship a camera? Absolutely unacceptable. They say it is on back order, so I asked for the number to coorporate and the guy hung up on me. I emailed their info center asking to lodge a complaint and no response.

Bait and Switch Don't Waste your Time
They are your typical upsale dishonest company on the internet. After you place the order they will send you emails with your "Total amount Paid" which is the full amount of your purchase but when you look on your credit card statement there is not even a Pending Charge (could it be that they don't want to pay any credit card fee's from processing then having to reverse the charges from the multiple of customers they try to screw over daily.) After a couple of days after placing the order I received an email that my order will be processing and it will take up to 48 hours or to expedite this process to call them. When you call you will have to wait on hold for a while, and when you do get to talk to someone thats when they try to "upsale you" to the product you initially intended to purchase. They claim the model you ordered was an overseas commercial model. When I stated that they were a bait and switch company the person on the phone (not a customer service agent because I received no customer service, more like a telemarketer) got all offended and snapped that it was stated on the website in multiple areas that I was purchasing an "Overseas Commercial model" When I asked where it stated this he told me right on the product page, so I asked him where on the page because I was looking at the whole page and no where on there does it state that. I was then told that it was also stated on the purchase page, so I moved on to that page and asked where on that page does it state this and I was directed to the terms and conditions page. So they are 0 for 2 at this point. Once you get to the terms and condition page its only states and I quote "We are primarily a Wholesale company; therefore most of our products are in the wholesale kit which differs from the Retail kits you would find in brick and mortar stores." So no where on their entire site does it state which product is a Wholesale kit or not, but what is funny is how they word a Overseas Commercial product with "wholesale kit". Any one who has a middle school education knows that the word Wholesale refers to buying anything in large quantities and in most cases at a discounted rate, what it doesn't mean is offering an overseas commercial item and trying to play it off as the real thing. When I told the person on the phone to cancel the order he said and I quote, "Fine we do not need your business, your card was never charged." then he hung up on me.
Also after reading their "Terms and Conditions" it states that all of their calls are monitored and recorded but they DO NOT give you the consent for any one to record any conversation with their company. Shady don't you think?!

Typical bait and switch shysters...
Ordered the UN65HU8550 HDTV. Was called the next day by a representative of the company who wanted to "verify" my order. First thing out of his mouth was that he wanted me to know this was a "last years model" and would not come with all the features of the current set. When I asked what features it didn't have, he quickly started going through the glowing features of the current model. Not being able to pin down exactly what it didn't have I told him I was sure I could live with a year old model at those savings. He THEN explained that it was a "commercial" set and would not come with a stand, 3D glasses, auto update, as well as other features. Again I asked what those "other" features might be, again I was given lots of words with no information. I then asked if he could hold my order so that I could contact Samsung for their explanation of the differences. He then explained that the set was an "last years, commercial, OVERSEAS" model, and that Samsung USA would have no information on this unit. At this point I knew this was a con, but figured I would see what the next angle would be. I told him to hold the set and I would contact Samsung overseas for an explanation of the difference. The last straw, it wouldn't come with a warranty, zip, zero.
Bottom line, these guys are rip off con artists, wouldn't trust them any further than I could throw them...
