Every moments I had at Yale are absolutely invaluable. I learned a lot of perspectives from people I met and through activities that helped me build my leadership.

I personally found the overall experience very enriching and important. However, before I get into the positives I’d like to point out one problem I noticed right away. This one problem being bedding. In June of 2019, when I attended my summit at the Harvard law school, a lot of kids started to notice a few things about the dorms we would be staying in. The main thing being no bedding was provided initially. It was expected that we brought are own. In the future I’d like this to be made more clear because it seemed like a lot of people didn’t realize this when I went. But other then that this experience is definitely worth its pricey cost. You go into these places filled with insane amounts of diversity that is just amazing. Kids from all over the world came. While there, we working in a lot of team building excersizes and workshops. I learned a lot of valuable lessons. I also managed to make some good friends from all over the world that I’m still friends with. You’ll be left with a pretty big experience that I don’t think many could forget.👍

Hello Elijah- I am so sorry you had problems with the bedding. It is provided by the university, so I hope we were able to resolve that for you and get you what you needed. I am so happy to hear that this issue didn't take away from your experience and the valuable lessons you learned. Thank you so much for sharing.

I had a great experience and made so many new memories but I just felt like the kids needed more time to hang out with each other without their counselors. We bond and talk to each other more without someone looking over us.

Thank you Elyesse- We appreciate the feedback and will continue to evaluate the schedule balance content and learning with free time and bonding for students.

I participated the summer before high school. It’s pricey, so I debated on it for a long time. Eventually, my parents agreed and we registered. The program took me out of my comfort zone, introduced me to friends I still keep in touch with, and allowed me to experience living in a college dorm. The organization could have been better, but overall, it was amazing and definitely worth the money. I can honestly say that I came out a different person when the program ended.

Enjoyed my stay just wish there were more showers and that the dorms had air conditioning.
