They sent me the wrong bindings. Unfortunately, I needed the bindings by a certain date. When I called on a Sunday during their published business hours, I was told nobody from the web department was in and they would have to call me Monday. I eventually emailed them later in the day and someone responded back to me in a reasonable timeframe. They mailed me the correct bindings and included a return shipping label for the ones they initially sent. The issue I had with this was that they sent the correct bindings via FedEx ground whereas my expectations were overnight shipping (since they made the mistake and it was time sensitive). I eventually received the correct bindings, but after the day I needed them. Good news is everyone I communicated with was very kind. In addition, they were reasonably priced and shipping was free. I’m just not sure I’d order something here again, unless it was a deal I couldn’t pass on.

Communication and delivery fails. First I tried to use chat on the website, and it told me I was next in line but no one ever helped me. Then I ordered ski bindings and didn't get a tracking number until I emailed for one. When they package arrived there was a single used binding in a battered box! I emailed again and Hillary was helpful and sent out a replacement and a label to send back the first package. However, I once again didn't get a tracking number until I emailed inquiring about it. When the bindings arrived the second time, everything looked good, but the entire process took up too much of my time and did not inspire confidence in the Alpine Shop.

Communication was good. Shipping was prompt. But packaging was poorly done and one of the heel bindings partially broke thru the boxes and the top layer of color chipped off a corner. The bindings were also a little dirty—perhaps the display model? Still quick service.

I sent out an email inquring about a promotion I saw online and never heard back, disappointing needless to say.

Nice people. Mistake made, but good service to correct it.

When I first started coming to Alpine Shop a youth rate for a lease package of skis was moderately affordable and now my kids are still only in junior high but the price is astronomical because they fit into adult ski packages skiing is expensive my son loves skiing he would every day of his life if it was affordable this will be the first year that we probably won't even be able to afford the lease package he wears a size 13 man's shoe or more so the prices are just Out Of Reach. Vermonters should be able to ski in Vermont and have it be affordable thanks for listening

Diane, thank you for your feedback and we do empathize with the expense of participating in this great sport. Our adult full season lease package (skis-boots-bindings-poles + unlimited free ski tunes all season) is only $189. This price has only increased by $10 in the past 10 years. Plus, it includes some free lift tickets and store discounts. Our kid's leases are just $99 and that price hasn't changed in over 22 years. We do this to make the sport more affordable for families. This is easily the best overall value you could find and we take great pride in being able to offer this service to our Vermont community.
