Boxes are not being sent out at the beginning of each season. Items are frequently not season appropriate or are repeats of prior boxes (sometimes repeated several times).

I have to say that I have been a subscriber for a number of years. I always let causebox/alltrue do the choosing of products for me. Lately I've been feeling like an afterthought. Seems to me that they pack the least wanted items in my box...the left-overs. Does anyone else feel this way?

Still waiting for my Spring box. Doesn’t seem to be a way of contacting the company. I’m paid through 2023?

I have been a member of Alltrue (formerly Cause Box) for over a year now. I had been going back and forth about trying them and then there was a spoiler in my feed that made me want to try them. I did a few boxes as a seasonal member - pay as you go at a bit higher price per box - but you basically couldn't choose any of the options. I did like the items that came in my box - they are good quality and the cost of box vs. value of contents is really high. I ended up changing over to an annual membership because while I did like the contents, I wanted to have some say in which items were included to avoid waste. For a company that is supposed to be about sustainable products, you would like avoiding shipping members items that they won't use would be a primary focus, but not really. It seems like every box there has been some issue, which with covid-19 you can kind of accept, but they just don't seem to have it together. My first 2 boxes were under their Cause Box brand, but since they have switched to the Alltrue moniker every box has issues and it seems to be getting worse. I also subscribe to another "box" program - the one with lots of Fs in the name - and have been with them for longer and do the annual subscription there as well. With that box, I have had an issue here but nothing like with Alltrue. For both boxes I made my selections for the Spring box at roughly the same time. Alltrue claims that their boxes would start shipping in March sometime and finish up mid May. Well... We are now late May 2022 and still by box is listed as not shipped. For the other box company I have had my Spring box for months, have already made my Summer selections, and just received notice that my Summer box has shipped. I just tried to contact the Alltrue Customer Service - was hoping for a live chat like the other box and most retailers - but would settle for an email address on online form to fill out. I would like to know what is going on with the Spring box and, ultimately, will likely cancel my subscription and close the account. However, when you try to access there contact us page - which there are links for - all you get is a page for an error message. They just keep tallying up points against themselves when things like this happen. In the end, while the products are high quality, and the value of the box, when you finally get it, is quite high (think $250+ in products for the $50 box), they just don't have things figured out at the logistics level to make me want to stay - oh, and I will add that they just announced an increase for their box/subscription fee to be over $50 now - like $55 or so - and while that is still less than the MSRP for the products you do get in the box, when it finally arrives, I think most people are trying to cut back on spending. If I factor in everything about this company I just don't think they are worth the price of the box and feel like they are becoming untrustworthy and disreputable.

I was a subscriber of this company for 2 years. I subscribed when Alltrue went by the name Causebox and presented themselves as a lifestyle subscription box supporting either good cause, local artisans, women owned businesses or products with clean/plant based ingredients. I noticed that many products are no longer made by artisans. Alltrue uses the brands’ names and designs and manufactures the products somewhere else, by someone else. Example from the latest box: Yune yoga mat crafted and printed in Oregon, USA. Originally selling for $59 and giving a portion of their profits to local shelters, charities, and under funded schools. This very mat is revamped by Alltrue using the same print/design and also using the yoga mat company name. The mat is no longer padded, it is a thin travel version, and the production is moved from Oregon to China. This Alltrue dupe that uses cheap labor and less material is valued $85. Many items included in previous boxes have similar story. About the shipping times… Right now, the spring season is about to start. It’s March 2022 and many WINTER boxes haven’t shipped yet, including mine. This became a standard thing with Alltrue. Whether the covid excuses are valid or not, unlike my other subscription boxes that are on time, Alltrue is always one season behind. This Winter box contains items like blankets, fuzzy socks, beanie hats... and you won’t be able to use them until next winter. What is the point of having this subscription? Excuses, late deliveries, cheap dupes… no reason to continue my 3rd year with Alltrue.

Alltrue is by far the most aggravating subscription box I've tried over the last two years. Be aware that once you pay for an annual subscription there are no refunds. Notifications for customizations or add ons don't show up and there is no published schedule for the boxes. You can't see what you ordered in a box once cutomizations close. The fulfillment and shipping take way too long. The products are generally nice - once they arrive. I think the value is dependent on what you ordered. Customer service only offers polite, vague, aplogetic responses but not action. Very happy that Winter will be my last box.

I really wanted to love this subscription service but their shipping is terrible and hasn't improved with the seasons. They are still blaming covid but this has been going on and other subscription box services seem to have planned ahead and recovered but not Alltrue. It takes months and months to get anything from them and I'm not ever sure I will even get my fall box before winter. I will no longer do business with them unfortunately.

The products aren't all that special. I can get similar items at Walmart and Target, for the most part. I take part in the surveys for upcoming boxes and I just can't get excited about things at this point. I won't be renewing my annual subscription. Also, they keep using the name Causebox in some of their marketing stuff, which I think is sloppy.
