Every time I use the super spray it’s…
Every time I use the super spray it’s hours and hours of horrible taste from the spray. It’s terrible. Also I’m just starting and don’t know if I can continue with the drip. I also am still getting congested but I’ve just started it this week.

Thank you for your feedback, Dina. Sorry to hear you are experiencing a bitter taste! That bitter taste is due to the azelastine, antihistamine component of your spray, that about 10% of patients may detect. We want to first make sure you're taking your spray correctly so that it stays in your nose and doesn't drip down your throat - as we say, if you taste it, you waste it! Technique is everything with nasal spray so here's a quick video demonstrating the correct technique to get the best results and avoid tasting your nasal spray: https://www.allermi.com/blogs/learn/get-started-with-allermi The main takeaways: -Shake your bottle very well before each use -Take your nasal sprays in the nose-to-toes, chin-to-chest position -Do 15-30 seconds of bunny sniffs per nostril, keeping your chin to your chest, breathing out through the mouth as needed Please pay extra careful attention to the technique above and let us know how you do. Consistent use of the above method should completely eliminate the taste of the azelastine. However, if despite the use of this method, you still are troubled by the taste, we can remove the azelastine from your formula. This will completely eliminate the taste. Regarding the ongoing congestion, Allermi contains both short-acting and long-acting ingredients that can take several weeks to a couple of months to reach full efficacy. We anticipate ongoing improvement with continued use. Please let us know if you’d like us to modify your formula for you prior to your next refill date my logging into My.allermi.com and contacting your Care Team.
