I definitely would recommend this school to anyone.
I never thought I would have graduated from this school, but I must say I did graduate and with a Bronze honor. This is because the teachers believed in their students. When I thought I could never do coding that is when the professor spent her time making it so simple. Today I as I recall my experience, I humble myself and say Thank You to the staff of Allen School of Health Sciences. You are Great

room for improvement
You have a 50/50 chance of getting a good instructor or a bad instructor. I would not recommend the online course for someone who is completely new to the medical field as there is a lot of information that is "rushed" through.

Hello Donna. Thank you so much for writing this review. Our classes are definitely accelerated and do required some hard work and dedication on the part of the student for sure, but they are designed for students of all levels even if they do not have prior medical experience.

Environment
Allen School has a very friendly and supportive environment for both teachers and students. It has very well designed educational programs for various fields in the healthcare system. They have advanced equipment and machines for training and education purposes. These expensive and modern equipment used for training students help them operate in any healthcare institutions around the world with accuracy and professionalism. Allen School is well known for its educational process in a friendly environment which enables students to feel free in the classroom and ask questions, that further help them to excel in the fields they are trying to gain expertise upon.

Medical coder/biller
For the most part this is an awesome school. The only thing I can say negative is the cost of the program and lack of funding due to I am only making $10.50 a month and don't know how I will repay all my loans. The other thing is I have been out of school since 5/21/2016 and have not received my associates degree in the mail yet

Some good points, some bad.
Most instructors were good. I experienced a couple of be ones. Counseling and issue resolution was poor.

Great way to learn!
Love being in a virtual classroom! Having someone to teach me was the reason I chose Allen. I didn't want to try to teach myself. Loved being able to ask questions. Only drawback is not enough coding to be prepared for CPC exam, especially after the Associates Program!

That's great Karen! We're so glad you enjoy our virtual classroom experience. Our goal was to make an online learning experience that matches campus learning as closely as possible. Don't forget if you'd ever like more practice or help with any of the material we teach you can reach out to your instructor for more help.

My experience at Allen school was an awesome journey because I get to meet some very wonderful friends and they were all helpful. The professors were a great team also because they make sure you understand fully before moving on. The school on a whole is a very good school and there is lots of help to help you move forward. Thanks
