In Syracuse NY airport
In Syracuse NY airport. 2 hours before flight check in is backed up. Only 2 gate agents who are slower than *#^%. You pay cheap you get cheap. I feel back for agents. Bare bones service!!

PLEASE DO NOT FLY WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Please find attached my letter to Allegiant Air. Their response...was to do NOTHING (except to pass along the car seat complaint..."pass along") Apparently their 100.00 cheques were payment enough for awful service, not to mention the lies that their staff had told us, stating that our return flight wouldn't be affected. Spend the money on a reputable airline who will stand behind their airline and services. 100.00 cheques for our inconvenience?!? That is NOT being held accountable....not at all. ***** Good morning, We recently were booked in to fly to Myrtle Beach from Pittsburgh on Sunday, October 11th. The flight was cancelled for reasons we 100% understand. We received the email for the 100.00 checks as well, and we thank you. However.... We had to then rent a vehicle to drive 10 hours with 6 people, one being 5 years old, as there were no more flights that day, or the next day. Our rental vehicle was then $341.16 When we found out our flight to Myrtle Beach was cancelled, I spoke to one of your representatives, and asked if our flight home to Pittsburgh on Friday, October 16th would be affected, and our answer was "no, it will not be affected and will still be valid". THE DAY BEFORE....on Thursday, October 15th, I received an email which panicked me severely. I was then told, THE DAY BEFORE our returning flight, that it also was cancelled...even though YOUR representative AND app stated that it had not been cancelled. I had to scramble THE DAY BEFORE our returning flight to rebook our tickets at DOUBLE THE PRICE!!!!! Yes, you read it right....DOUBLE THE PRICE as our first returning flight. There was a difference of a mere 110.00 for the original going/return flight as there was for the rebooked returning flight. I feel like I was taken COMPLETE advantage of!!! And to top things off....when we arrived in Pittsburgh on the 16th, my 5 year old's car seat was missing pieces!!! My son has Autism, and believe me....the remainder of the "vacation", all we heard was a screaming child because he had no cup holders. As a child with Autism...a small change can be catastrophic. I want to be VERY clear....I, again, understand how situations beyond your control can happen....and you took the necessary compensation steps to make up for the flight to Myrtle Beach on October 11th. HOWEVER.....you left me scrambling to get a rental vehicle to get to Myrtle Beach, a flight home with 1 day notice AND a broken car seat (tracking #0268895628) If we do not get compensation for the difference of our flights home that we were told weren't affected, our rental vehicle that we should not have had to rent AND the broken car seat....I will be going to the Better Business Bureau AND taking this matter to the media. I will NEVER fly again with your company, and I will make sure that all potential Allegiant customers will know of this treatment. And I will not be accepting the 100.00 vouchers as your form of apology. That would have been sufficient for the initial inconvenience for cancelled flights to Myrtle Beach, but not the rest of the stress that you had inflicted upon my family when this was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. Return Airfare overcharge - $566.00 (1352÷2=676) original flight (1242-676=566) Rental Vehicle in Pittsburgh - $341.16 New car seat - $249.00 TOTAL - $1156.16 We all have jobs to do, and responsibilities that come with them. As a nurse, if I did not do my job correctly...or my husband who is a police officer, did not do his job correctly....there would be consequences....we would be held accountable for our actions. I also expect your company to be held accountable for YOUR actions. Respectfully, Marsha McConnell

Allegiant Air’s cancellation policy is STUPID. I will NEVER book this airline again. As a first time customer I was highly disappointed. When my travel plans change unexpectedly, I would hope this airline like others I have booked in the past would show some understanding and offer reasonable solutions. Instead, I felt like my money and time mean absolutely NOTHING to them. The lack of flexibility, confusing restrictions, and fees make the entire experience incredibly stressful. It’s ridiculous to feel penalized for circumstances that are sometimes completely out of your control. Customer service should be about helping people find solutions, not making an already frustrating situation even worse. For an airline that advertises affordable travel, the cancellation experience can left me feeling like the savings simply aren’t worth the headache. We deserve transparency, flexibility, and fair treatment—not a policy that leaves us feeling trapped and ripped off. I would think twice before booking with Allegiant Air again. A cheap ticket isn’t much of a bargain when changing your plans becomes a nightmare. Do better, Allegiant. Your customers deserve better than this.

Allegiant Air is very poorly run and unorganized. Their check in process is literally a shit show and the people are very incompetent at the punta gorda florida airport as well as the Portsmouth New hampshire. Far worse than Spirit airlines. It’s amazing Algiant is still in business.

Cancelled my return flight with no explanation or support; other flights were getting in and out of the airport. 45 minute wait to talk to a person on the phone, so the robot took my number and said I'd be called back in 30-45 minutes. 72 hours later I still haven't been called back. I was left to fend for myself to find my way home, had to pay $500 to another airline to get home and only received $100 back from Allegiant, far less than half the cost of the round trip flight. Never again!!

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Allegiant Airlines – Service Animal Issues and Poor Customer Service My first experience flying with Allegiant Airlines was extremely disappointing, and the way my situation involving my service animal was handled has left me frustrated and upset. On my flight to Greenville, South Carolina, there was an issue with the timing of the receipt of my service animal paperwork. As a result, my dog traveled in the cabin as a pet rather than being recognized as my service animal. During the flight, a flight attendant instructed me to keep my dog's carrier zipped. After I sat down, I unzipped the carrier slightly. When the flight attendant noticed, she spoke to me rudely and demanded that I zip it back up, warning me that she would file a complaint against me if she saw it unzipped again. I explained that my dog was a service animal, and I also informed another flight attendant of this. I am a World Trade Center survivor and live with PTSD. My service dog provides essential support when I experience panic attacks. The possibility of needing her assistance during a flight is not a convenience; it is an important part of managing my condition. The interaction with the flight attendant added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. I immediately submitted Allegiant's online form to register my dog as a service animal for my return flight. Two days later, I received an approval number for her service animal registration. However, Allegiant would not honor that approval for my return trip because my dog had already traveled on the outbound flight as a pet in the cabin. I called customer service and followed up by email, explaining that the original issue was the timing of the paperwork, not a lack of effort on my part to comply with the airline's requirements. I spoke with three different customer service representatives, but none seemed willing to listen to my explanation or help resolve the situation. I was repeatedly told that it was company policy. Consequently, despite receiving an approval number for my service animal, my dog had to travel as a pet in the cabin on my return flight as well. What disappointed me most was the lack of compassion, communication, and willingness to work toward a reasonable resolution. I made every effort to follow the process, submitted the necessary information, received an approval number, and contacted customer service to explain the circumstances. Yet I felt as though no one was interested in hearing my concerns. This was my first time flying with Allegiant, and it has left me with a very negative impression of the airline. Passengers with disabilities and service animals deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and understanding. Customer service should be about helping resolve problems, not simply repeating a policy without listening to the circumstances. I hope Allegiant reviews how this situation was handled, including the conduct of the flight attendant and the responses I received from customer service. I also hope the airline improves communication between its service animal approval process, flight crews, and customer service representatives so that other passengers do not have to experience the same frustration. Unfortunately, my first experience with Allegiant Airlines was one I will not forget, and not for the right reasons.

Worst in customer service. These people are the absolute worst in the entire industry. I will never fly allegiant again. Trip flex is a worthless waste of money. Asked for help modifying flight. They quoted me an obnoxious high price - higher than website showed and when I pointed it out the rude rep told me to modify it myself. 4 different people - 3 very rude and one dropped the call before finishing the change. I'd rather pay more with a classier airline than ever deal with this bottom dweller, no substance, useless unhelpful folks type of airline ever again. They really should not be in business.

This is the worst airline ever. They are ruining Suncountry which has been one of my favorites. I will do everything in my power to fly other airlines. Allegiant you should be embarrassed!!!!!
