No complaints so far, for the most part it's been easy and a smooth process. I have noticed positive changes in my smile after the 1st aligner! The only area of improvement I think is more materials helping to guide or instruct you as you take your dental molds. That part was a little confusing, I was looking all over your IG account to see videos or tutorials of other customers doing it so I could follow along. Although after I got it wrong, it was very helpful to do it in real time with an employee over zoom.

After 1 year I never even received an aligner that fit.
TLDR: Avoid at all costs, they will take your money and run you in circles forever.
I began working with AlignerCo 7/29/22. Initially, everything seemed to be good. They quickly sent impression materials and helped me to schedule a zoom meeting with their team to talk me through the impression process. This all seemed to go well, I followed their instructions and the images I submitted of the impressions were approved. After mailing them in, it took a couple weeks for them to develop my "smile projection". Everything looked good, so they began fabrication of a test tray. They told me on 9/3/22 that it would take 3 weeks and I should expect the test fit aligner to be in the mail on that timeline. Despite multiple attempts to contact them about delays, I did not receive the test fit aligner until 11/25/22, almost 3 months after it was "sent to the lab for fabrication". Best part, the aligners did not fit at all!
So, now they told me that since it didn't fit I would need to pay for more impression material to be sent out so we could try again. Frustrating, but what's another $30 when I'm already almost $1000 in at this point, right? So same process as before, they sent the materials, scheduled a zoom meeting, and did the impressions per their instruction. Submitted images of the impressions, those were approved, and I was asked to return the impressions to make my projection. (They initially did not provide a return shipping label either, but with some push back they later did). Once they received the impressions at their lab, they informed me that they were compromised and could not be used. I was asked to, again, pay $30 for additional materials to be shipped out.
At this point it was February 2023, ~7 months after signing up. After expressing my frustration, they offered to comp these materials, so I opted to continue trying. Same song and dance, I got the materials and set up a zoom session with Jay Smith. Did everything per his instruction, was told it all looked great, submitted images that were approved. Mailed it all in and, lo' and behold, the impressions are compromised and not workable. This process dragged out to May 2023.
At this point they stated I could pay for more impression material to be sent out, or I could find a local Dentist or Orthodontist who could take digital scans to send in to AlignerCo. However, any of this would have to be out of pocket for me. After getting local quotes for $200-$300 for the scans, I decided it was time to cut my losses and move on to a company that can actually provide the services they claim.
I requested a refund for the services they failed to provide. This was initially denied, but after asking for my case to be escalated to a manager I got this message on 5/31/23: "Upon sharing the details with the Manager, we have made an exception to issue a partial refund. A deduction fee of $300 will be applied, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the original mode of payment. Further negotiation or discussion regarding this matter is not possible. To proceed with the refund, please respond with "I consent.""
I opted to take this as a $300 lesson learned, and will be pursuing treatment elsewhere. While I understand that under their business model the act of creating the impressions is done by the end user, I did everything exactly as instructed by them every step of the way, and, frankly, could not have done much differently.
So, if you want to waste 1 year of your life, $300, and never receive a single usable aligner, this is the place for you. Otherwise, SEEK CARE ELSEWHERE.
Edit: their response to this means absolutely NOTHING. the last message they sent me stated the following: “ Upon sharing the details with the Manager, we have made an exception to issue a partial refund. A deduction fee of $300 will be applied, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the original mode of payment. Further negotiation or discussion regarding this matter is not possible. To proceed with the refund, please respond with "I consent."”
They were more than aware of all the issues, and failed time and time again to rectify. The ONLY thing that could change my feelings about this company would be if they refunded my ENTIRE purchase. They clearly never will because they do not value the customer experience.

Alignerco aligners do the job!
The company is very responsive and professional. The aligners did a great job of straightening my teeth but I would caution people to wear each step a bit longer than recommended to avoid moving teeth too quickly as that can have some adverse effects.

I'm on tray 9 of 15 and couldn't be happier! I actually tried smiledirect like 8 years ago and they were HORRIBLE! Alignerco has been great since day 1 and the trays are so much more comfortable than smiledirect was, they're not digging into my gums and unlike smiledirect all the correct trays actually came in the first time! Highly recommend to everyone and anyone.

Reliable, Efficient and Effective!
I have finished my treatment with alignerco to achieve my perfect smile. I was skeptical at first because of the difference in affordability compared to other companies, but I am beyond glad I followed my gut. I had a minor front tooth gap and a mild overjet. Those were tackled quickly and efficiently. Treatment only lasted a couple months ~7 ish. Very satisfied with my end goal. Overall super relived and content that I do not have to be in debt over braces.
