This is by far the worst furniture company I’ve ever ordered from. I put in an order for one dining chair on 1/15/24 & then sent an email on 1/29/24 requesting to cancel due to their significant delays in shipping (in stock & ready to ship is extremely deceiving & almost false advertising). As on 2/5/24, I have not received the chair nor a response from Alchemy! At this point, I will just need to request a charge back due to the lack of response.

I’ve placed a purchase for a set of Napkin Rings on January 4th, I shop a lot online and receive an update for most of my purchases with a day or two. Days went by and finally on January 9th, I decided to ask for an update about my order given I have never received one. I was then informed that the item I ordered was out of stock, so I asked for a refund and requested the purchase to be cancelled. The person who assisted me by text explained the details telling ME to cancel, when not only that’s their job, but they didn’t even bother to check the item was no longer in stock (If I didn’t text them, I would probably still be waiting). They then told me that the reason they were telling me to cancel was because “they wanted to provide me with the optiom to choose an alternative item” (no thanks, and even then, it would be up to me). I respectfully declined and told them to proceed with my refund. I was told they would take 10 business days and somehow I had a feeling that wasn’t going to be the case. It’s now the 9th business day and no sign of my refund whatsoever. The charge still show as pending in my bank account showing they clearly couldn’t care less about the clients or your money. I don’t even know why they are in business given their service is horrible in every single department. So please stay away from this place. I am taking legal action if I don’t receive my money back asap.

This is the second time I have purchased items from Alchemy Fine Home and it is the second time I have experienced lengthy delays and awful customer service. My first order was two bookshelves that ended up being 2 months late and required me to follow up multiple times a day for several days to make any progress on delivery. The Alchemy team were largely unhelpful throughout. Flash forward to my second purchase and I am now experiencing 6+ week delays for a rug. The only reason I found out about the delay was because I contacted them asking them where my order was. No one had thought to reach out and inform me. Again, staff are largely unhelpful and the company apparently feels like these delays are no big deal. I would avoid ordering from Alchemy like the plague if you expect your order even remotely close to when they indicate you will receive it. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a furniture company.

This was my 2nd experience with Alchemy, and I will never order from them again. The 1st time, they had an excuse due to Covid. The order was 8 months late, but they billed me at time of order. More recently, I placed an order way ahead of time, based on product being in stock, and lead times for delivery. Despite all that, I was notified my package wouldn’t come by Christmas. Their customer service staff is very slow to respond, and I was horrified. Hey Alchemy - maybe hire some Gen X people who will have some more accountability.

I will never purchase anything from this site again. I purchased placemats for $400, I didn’t care for the color. I was charged a 15% restock fee and paid for my own shipping. As much as I like to buy from smaller companies other than Amazon - this type of return policy doesn’t work for me.

I have two orders and it is very hard to get a resist. I ordered two items three weeks ago and still have no idea if things will arrive. One order has "shipped". No confirmation or time frame. No tracking number. Nothing. The other order they say they are checking on. Come on! Three weeks? This stuff is expensive and should be first class. I am wondering if this is a legitimate company.

Very long wait time for product; no communication proactively to inform us of this; even when item went into stock, it did not ship to us (we should have been first in line!) yet it was still being sold on the website as IN STOCK; item came scratched up; and Delivery company you contracted with scratched my wood floors deeply and made a huge gash in the wall which now needs spackle to fix and repaint. All in all a terrible experience, especially with such expensive items (over $10,000 for two small tables).

Order #12140 placed May 2023 I’ve placed multiple calls and left voice messages , sent texts and finally spoke with Jerry on Oct 13rh who promised to check ship date for my Starlata mirror Still waiting. Starting to worry this place may be a scam? Just text me back Jerry please and let me know status Thank you
