Alaska RailroadReviews of alaskarailroad.com

I had an amazing experience with the Alaska Railroad trip from Fairbanks to Anchorage earlier this week. I was not charged for my checked luggage, nor was it even weighed, and the crew allowed me to sit on the train's observation deck the entire trip, despite having an assigned seat on the main deck. My only suggestion for improvement is to allow hot meals for those in coach (i.e. Adventure Class), and possibly lower the price. It cost more than double the price to fly ($285 compared to a $119 flight), but the views still made it worth it. Highly recommend them.
