I try to so alot of diy stuff whether it be to save money, for knowledge and experience, or because now or days you don't know who you can trust from the professional sector. Alarmgrid in my very honest opinion embodies the diy spirit with their very helpful and knowledgeable staff, to the slew of information on the site, and lastly to the tons of helpful instructional videos where you get to put names to a few of the faces that you would talk to over at alarmgrid. Keep up the great work alarmgrid oh and did I mention they try to be accomodating if they can when it comes to scheduling stuff.

Just activated with Alarm Grid! The service from EVERYONE was nothing less than excellent. You won't find many companies that go above and beyond like this one. The entire staff was extremely professional and helpful as they assisted in providing excellent support. Would highly recommend to everyone. Definite 5 stars!

Alarm Grid is an amazing company to deal with. I swapped out my old alarm system but bought most of my alarm components from "the other guy" before I came upon Alarm Grid. I didn't compare prices of what I bought but if Alarm Grid was 15% or even 20% higher it makes sense to buy the alarm components from Alarm Grid, and here is why: in three words - amazing customer service. I felt guilty telling their tech support people that I bought my stuff elsewhere but they didn't care, they would have liked for me have bought my stuff from them but it didn't stop them from giving me world class technical support. So I bought my communicator from them and going forward I will buy any additional components from them. As to setting up my communicator, nothing could be easier than they made it. I installed the communicator and then signed up for their Gold monitoring package. Within a few hours of signing up Joe from Alarm Grid called me to do the setup. I was concerned about all of the programming I was going to have to do to get it set up. My fear of doing all of that programming evaporated quickly with Joe on the phone. He did all of the programming remotely while I sat and watched. I had questions as he was doing the setup and he addressed every one of them as well as giving me a tutorial on using the system.

I switched to Alarm Grid after my local alarm company failed to call the police department on two separate incidents. I was interested in running my system after integrating it with my home automation and realizing programming is pretty basic if you are used to old school electronics. I was nervous at first but, Alarm Grids knowledge base was very detailed and across many product lines, so I knew they had some good experience. Activation was very easy and informative. I have had the service coming up on a year, with around 13 incidents. 3 were real, 10 were informative calls to maintain service. The 3 incidents, the proper phone tree was called and police arrived knowing what zone went off, all of them had an email follow-up. The other 10 incidents were either power failures, long term internet outages, sensor errors... They do not call immediately, but the text alerts are immediate. So far they have been amazing in all aspects; when I canceled with my local alarm company they said, "have you read the reviews about online company's?" and promptley sent me a warning email. I am sure there are bad companies out there, this is not one of them.

I was walked through each step of the setup process. My specialist was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, including several outside-the-box questions regarding controlling locks and other devices with my system. Very happy with the process. Everyone I've spoke with at Alarm Grid has been friendly and professional and has answered all of my questions.

I installed a new security system and was looking for basic service. I did some research and found Alarm Grid. Lowest price I found and easy sign up. I thought I had done something wrong as I only had to fill out one page of information which took less than 5 minutes. I did this on a Sunday night and by Monday morning my service was set up and ready to go. I would highly recommend this company without reservation.

I am very impressed with the level of customer service I have received, very quick response to an issue we are experiencing as well as helpful advise. Proves that it doesn't have to be expensive to be valuable!
