I recently had a disappointing experience with Alanita Travels. Throughout the booking process, I encountered inconsistent information regarding fares and policies. For example, I was quoted a one-way ticket fare of over $1000 during a phone conversation, yet the Alanita website displayed a price of $853 for the same itinerary. Within just a few hours, I was informed of an additional cost of $413, and later told that the fare had increased again to over $1000. This level of inconsistency and lack of clarity made the entire process confusing and frustrating. I expected a more transparent and professional approach from a travel agency, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.

Very poor customer service. They don’t follow any protocol or formal discussions. They charged $600 cancellation charge for my ticket where airlines charged only $200. And yet to give proper explanation. They tell you to pay cancellation charge before cancelling and refund very less amount. Please don’t fall for cheap tickets. It’s a scam

Alanita travel is a scam. Please do not use them. They gave me a lower price on ticket booking but my flight got cancelled and airline was providing full refund without any penalty but due to this travel agency in the middle I had to go through them for cancellation and they scam customers by charging $35 per passenger as cancellation fee and the travel agent Divya lied to me that they are paying this amount to airline which is completely wrong.Also they charge this fee through zelle payment only . Please do not fall for their lower prices you will end up paying more if you have to make any changes for any reason.

We ran into an emergency situation during transit at Frankfurt and couldn't continue our journey. Kevin (frisco branch) from Alanita worked really hard to get us back a refund from Lufthansa. I am happy with Alanita team and their dedication especially Kevin who was very thorough and pursued our case

Worst experience, be careful with this travel .. they paid less amount to Airlines than they collected me…they cheated me .there was a double charge in my credit card , one they charged to Airlines and other one they put into their own account(cheated one) after few days from first charge….when I called Airlines they told it was paid one time only and they told your travel agency might have cheated you..I am more frustrated not only just because of the money but the way how these people take advantage on the booking of there is any loophole…if you have not faced issues yet, it means you are one of the luckiest person….good that I have not recommended this travel agency to any of my friends..I was about to book for my entire family in the upcoming summer but will never go back to this agency..very bad experience

I was using makemytrip for my India trips since 2006 until 2019. One of my friend referred Alanita Travels and I given try in 2019 and the service was ok and I referred few of my friends too. This year, I'm facing an horrible experience with them. The customer support is annoying and they don't listen to your need and tried to sell a dump ticket(not flexible and non refundable) on your head and It happened to me now as well though I'm a loyal customer since 2019. I asked them flexible ticket while booking and they said there is no flexible tickets anymore which is not correct. But their intention is robbery your money later if we ask any small change which most of us will do because things change in our life when we book a ticket 6 months ahead. Now, I asked to postpone the start date and one the manager confirmed $221 as price difference and $110 as penalty with total of $331 per ticket and I agreed. Then he said his colleague will call me later of the day and will send the payment link to confirm the change. But I waited 3 hours and I didn't any call. So I called them back after 3 hours and got a response that someone will call me back. But no one called on that day. Then I called them next day and they said the price difference is $500+ and when I called them 2 days later and they said the price difference is 600+. So it's so obvious that they want us your situation to make and milk money from you. They show an irritating attitude and behave very unethical of what they suppose to help the customers. ALANITA TRAVEL IS A BIG SCAM. DO THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOK WITH THIS AGENCY.

Particularly UNHELPFUL to customers, once the ticket is booked. They do not work on behalf of customers but ONLY FOR PROFITS
