I am dealing with AIMS Power Tech support.

After following up with tech support today, Andrew helped me trouble shoot and provided me with the correct switch settings. 👍 I am bumping 2 stars to 4 stars. I called and left a voicemail with my contact info and sent the email below With contact info over 2 weeks ago With no response. Dear Tech Support, I purchased your AIMS PICOGLF20W12V120VR 2000 Watt and 6000 Watt Inverter Charger. I put a 300 AMP fuse between the battery bank and the inverter to protect it. Everything seemed good, but when I start the AC while running my 4000 Watt Onan Generator the fuse blows. Should I bump the fuse up to 600AMPs? The inverter is within 2ft of the battery’s and I used 2/0 welding cable so think that is all good. Also wondering if I missed a way to disable the startup draw from the batteries by disabling the inverter assist since it worked fine without it with the old converter. Appreciate the info. I did replace the fuse with a 600 amp one, so no blown fuse on today’s attempt, but my fully charged battery bank dropped to 11V After a few minutes and the alarm Light came on so I shut it off.

Received the Inverters in good condition. Currently organizing to build 2 offline solar systems at my vacation home overseas with the AIMS INVERTERS (the 12000 watts; the 2000watts 12/48Vdc/220Vac.). Stay tuned! I plan to update this further as we build and test our systems.

Purchased a 12 volt 4000 watt Inverter in 2014, and have had no issues with it. Use it to run a freezer and small fridge in our travel trailer. Only issue was with Aims sales rep. I needed a 120 volt line Inverter and was told they were out of stock. Sold me a 240 volt and said it would work. When I called to ask how to wire 120 volt to a 240 volt Inverter, was told I had the wrong Inverter. Had to ship it back at my expense to get the right unit. Other than that price is on the high end but well worth it. Great value for the price.

Invert is great. The electrician did the basic hookup but couldn’t get it fully working. I called the support line and they quickly helped me diagnose and fix the issue myself

I did not expect a fast turn around for this out of warranty repair, however when the time exceeded expectations Aims made it right. I had already replaced the unit with a new one when I sent it in for repair. As we have tested the unit in actual use for over 5 years and found it to be a very well made product, so much so we became an Aims dealer.
