Studying abroad with AIFS in Berlin was one of my best experiences in college. The program was very interesting and well organized, the apartment was lovely, and the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They did a great job with everything from helping those who had not been abroad before to pointing out fun places to stop on our (very thoughtfully planned) trips to other cities. I would go back now if I could!

My experience was great. My only complaint was a host that couldn't speak English, and I think AIFS should try to provide a translator is a English speaking host is not available. However, she was the sweetest lady in the world once I crossed the language barrier. The education was easy, but informative. You get plenty of free time to see the city you chose. Some students even use the the free time to fly to other neighboring countries between class days. There is no helicopter parenting - feel free to get CRAZY at night, but be prepared for class. The group activities were a blast and helped me make friends from all over America; Not many from the country I toured unfortunately.

AIFS Study Abroad was the best experience of my life - I learned so much in my short time abroad (J-Term in London), but it made me who I am today! I now work for a company where I have to travel monthly all over the world, and my study abroad program helped prepare me for that. The apartments I lived in there were very comfortable and homey. The program coordinators and professors were beyond helpful in getting used to the new territory, and the friends I met along the way are friends I'll have for a lifetime! Could not recommend the AIFS Study Abroad program enough... Wish I could go back and do it all again!

AIFS helped make my study abroad experience such an easy transition out of my comfort zone which was very much appreciated! Every member who I had contact with was not only personable but eager to help! Thank you for making my trip so unforgettable!

AIFS has incredible programming for study abroad. I studied on their London program for a semester and chose their program specifically based on their location within the city (Kensington!) and the wide offering of courses they offered. Housing and meals were included and it easily become the most affordable program in London. Aside from their amazing on-site programming, their re-entry is phenomenal. Angela and the Alumni team provide students with the chance to leverage their experiences abroad as educational and professional experiences to help with our development in our careers.

I had a blast studying abroad through AIFS!

This experience was absolutely life changing. There is no part of my experience I would possibly change. I had a much more impactful time abroad than my friends who went to more "traditional" study abroad countries with other programs. South Africa has every possible type of experience you can have, bound into one. Going with AIFS eased all of the stress associated with travel and figuring out a new school's systems, and Hestea is the most wonderful person I have every had the privilege of meeting. The only downside to my study abroad experience is the fact that I had to come home.

I absolutely LOVED studying abroad through AIFS. We were fully integrated into the university we were studying at, while also having a community of other AIFS students. I studied at Richmond in Kensington in London and AIFS provided not only many opportunities to explore London, but also travels abroad. They were all so helpful--from when I was planning my own travels with friends to figuring out a doctor's visit when I was sick. HIGHLY recommend to any student looking to study abroad. (Also, so affordable!)
