The Berlin AIFS Advisors were just lovely, kind, and most of all awesome. They introduced us to things we would never had thought of to do or actually know about. They were very supportive of all of us, basically watching over us as our surrogate family. In my case, they were extremely helpful/supportive with fixing me up with my worksite and getting me through the rough few weeks when my phone was stolen. Overall if it weren't for them, I would not have enjoyed my experience abroad in Berlin, and for that I am extremely thankful that I had the opportunity to have them as our Advisors! 😄👍

AIFS changed my life. They made it possible for me to study abroad in a new country & live my best life. I was able to learn about new cultures, help others in situations different than mine, and come out with an open mind. However, in all honesty, the head coordinator of my program wasn’t very helpful in the process to go abroad. But that didn’t stop my excitement and urge to go to South Africa. I will always remember AIFS as a way out for me.

AIFS was the best program to study abroad with! Their representatives were super helpful in the application process and answered any questions within 24 hours! The representatives while studying abroad were awesome too! They were very informative and helpful when questions came up, and always were checking in on students!

Studying with AIFS in St. Petersburg was probably the best decision I could've made for my semester abroad! I got to become a part of a great study abroad cohort, was connected with a lot of resources and opportunities while I was in Russia, and had super friendly and supportive on-site staff. I know that if I were to have studied abroad in Russia without AIFS, my experience would have been hands down less enjoyable!

AIFS Madrid, Spain offered a top quality school at Nebrija University with classes that were way more interactive than in the states. My housing was an apartment with three other girls, one was in AIFS with me. I liked it better than a homestay; I could cook or go out when I wanted and bring friends over. It's in a great area of the city, close to everything. Madrid is a huge city, even for me just spending 4 months there I didn't see all of Madrid; but it's the place to be for sure because of all the amazing things to ALWAYS be doing. This program was well done and the advisor, Barbara is like a mom. It's a blast and you'll never want to go home!! I loved taking the metro, walking the streets, drinking Sangria, going out to different clubs, traveling in Europe and Spain, and going to Retiro or Temple Debod with groups of friends. You are the one to really be goal setting for speaking Spanish, and it becomes easy as everyone speaks it around you!

I went into this program uneasy about the amount of money it cost me. Although I still am struggling to pay off loans I took out to pay for the trip, I know I can pay them eventually. i would not trade my experience abroad for anything.

AIFS provided me with a chance to truly experience the culture and I would not choose another program had I to do it all over again. The all-inclusive price really helped me in planning ahead and my advisors/directors were there for me in every way before I had even arrived!
