Renewal Frustrations
First, you required a survey before renewal, but it stated no rush. Then an email was received that we were being canceled. We spent hours researching new insurance and obtained approvals while trying to reach Ahoy. Ahoy had wrong information pertaining to the policy. We were told that they did not support insurance in our state where we live in NH. However, the boat is docked in CT/RI and registered in RI. At that point, we gave up with Ahoy and then out of the blue, we received an email that the insurance was being renewed without survey and other items needed. This whole process was frustrating and time consuming. This took nearly 3 months to resolve. We have no idea where the misinformation came from. We did choose to remain with Ahoy due to policy time constraints.
