My overall experience was fine. I would recommend you to a friend. It was easy to sign up for a policy on line. Other than that I fortunately didn’t have much interaction. No claims or problems. My main complaint is the time it is taking to get my refund since I cancelled the policy on the last day of the old policy and my premium had aiready been paid for the upcoming year. I feel Ike I’ve waited too long to have the money put back into my account. It’s causing me cash flow issues. Update: Ahoy customer service read my review about the refund and remedied the issue within 24 hours. Good work. Thank you

Everything was fine, however when I first applied I was turn down due to driving record. Knowing that my driving good, I got my records from the motor vehicle department. I called Ahoy back and scanned it to you. I never heard back so I called to see what happened and then was approved. Not sure why I was declined at the first attempt.

Ahoy was the cheapest insurance I could find. But, the members website page is worthless. Not even the payment date was listed. You have to call them to find out anything. On the other hand, Getting through to someone was very easy. I don't remember having to go through a bunch of prompts. I can't speak to how well they handle claims.
