I needed a new scale to weigh my suitcases for my trips. My old one went wonky. I searched Amazon.com and they suggested H & C Weighing Systems . I found the perfect scale, lightweight and very easy to read. No setup needed, just remove from the box and you're ready for action.

Hi Dwayne, The 439 eye level mechanical physician scale is packed in two pieces by the manufacturer to cut down on the packaging volume to save the customer money in shipping fees. Regards, H&C Weighing Systems

I purchased a digital scale from you that is defective. When I called your customer service department the only assistance I was offered was to contact Adam Company { the manufacturer} However when I called Adam I was told that if H & C weighing would have just contacted them they would have immediately sent me a new scale. But because they didn't. We had to wait for return label then mail it back and wait for them to send another one. It is highly unlikely that we will purchase from you again or recommend you.

We refer all problems with new scales to the manufacturer's technical service department because, many times, the issue can be diagnosed over the phone and many problems can be resolved immediately. Also, the scales are fully warrantied by the manufacturer and they need to know what the problem is before they will issue an RMA. The customer wanted a new scale shipped to her before an RMA was issued. Unfortunately, we cannot volunteer to have the manufacturer ship replacement scales without their approval. We are not sure who this customer talked with at the manufacturer, but they will not just send a new scale to someone just because we tell them to do so. The RMA was issued the same day that we were contacted by the customer and a called tag was emailed to her as well by the manufacturer. This particular manufacturer sends the replacement scale as soon as the return tag is scanned by UPS. WE are not sure what more we could have done.

The scale arrived quickly. It was exactly what I expected. The assembly was easy and quick.. I brought this product because of it's name. It was the name on every scale in the doctor's office since I was a child. I wanted a scale that gave me an accurate weight that agreed with the doctors office. I am very happy with the product.
