The pads and batteries that each AED manufacturer provides range in expiration lengths for example adult pads may have a longer expiration cycle than pediatric pads. To smoothly manage this and other responsibilities associated with AEDs, we recommend LifeShield, our AED compliance management tool. It lets you log monthly AED checks, stay up to date with the most recent AED laws and regulations in your area, sends you reminders for battery and pad expirations and more.
