All was quick and easy from very nice, friendly people.

We were greeted by very cheerful staff and had everything explained to us. They were very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend anyone interested in being in charge of their health go see them about a full body scan.

If I wanted to sit through a two hour timeshare presentation I would have picked a prettier location. You all don’t care about my health. Your number one priority is how many body scans you can sell me for future use. If you really cared about people you would offer a reasonably priced package for a one time full body scan. After all, I’m already there. Just 13 more minutes for let’s say, $500. Not $1250. After we left we actually looked around and did some pricing and there are other places offering similar services for less without the two hour timeshare speech.

We do not know yet what the scan revealed. What I am convinced of is that Advanced Body Scan runs an overpriced business that advertises a low price, and then tries to capture people into committing to choices of programs that are not priced reasonably. I hoped that there would be a revealing of anything to either or both of us to address, but what I remember is the continuous effort by Don Webber to attempt to make us commit to some "plan" that would cost us thousands of dollars over several years. The concept of trying to take money from people has been around for a long time. It is no wonder that salespeople are generally suspect when it comes to honesty. I surely don't need anyone declaring his/her own honesty; that is best left for people who know them. The procedure was quick and painless, so that is a plus. But the company needs to change its sales tactics. I still remember over the many years of our marriage the slick-talking people we have dealt with: con artists who try to sell time shares (not for us), overpriced cookware (we got a better deal), Insurance (what a scam), automobiles (that is why we prefer individual owners) and now body scan services. When we first entered the building and met with the receptionist, the first thing she wanted upon bringing up our names and appointment was the $82.00. Then, when Don Webber took us to the back with the intent of "taking us," he refused to take "no" for an answer. I suppose he figured he would wear us down. Persistence cannot force people who cannot afford the product or services to sign a contract. I take care of paying our bills and seeing that we keep a balanced budget. When I say "NO," I MEAN NO. When I said my final "NO," I saw the change in Don's demeanor and attitude. It is always best to deal honestly with people, for, in the long period, people will not resent that they have been coerced into buying what they cannot afford. Poor people cannot afford to spend money foolishly. If this scanner is really that great, why not make it available to more people at a lower cost? If Advanced Body Scan can afford to offer a service worth "$2,700" for a couple at a cost of $82.00, then why not offer it to a couple for $250 all year long? if they need additional scans, they may be more likely to come in for them. In case the company only understands "bottom line" math, there is real math that is understood by most people. That is practical math. It is far easier to come up with $250 once or twice a year, than to pay $1,350 at a time, or purchase a subscription that costs from $129. per month to $238. per month. Each of these programs take five years to pay off. If this machine is as wonderful as salespeople like Don Webber want others to believe, and their interest is future better health of them, do the right and honest thing, and cut the prices drastically.
