I needed a new pair of Rx safety glasses. So began the Internet search. I had decided I wanted the Wiley X Saint, now to get an Rx put in. First company, after I ordered online they said that their website was wrong and it wasn't Rx'able. Thankfully it didn't take a bunch of time to get my money back. So next on my list was ADS Sports Eyeware. Placed my oder and next day got an email from them saying there could be a comfort issue with my selection. They gave me an option to add onto the lenses. I went with it and couldn't be happier. They got my glasses to me in quick fashion and their communication was perfect. I will definitely use them again when I need to adjust my Rx again.

great pr response. however, my ip distances were included in the prescription sent from my opthalmologist. he has been in practice for over 40 years. im quite sure his measurements were accurate. interestingly, no other lab has had issues with those distances. why not allow rebuttals to your responses on trust pilot??

had to fax, email etc. prescription multiple times before order was actually started despite being told 'we have everything we need to process order'...then was delayed several weeks without explanation...followed by promises to have lenses shipped within 2-3 weeks...6-8 weeks later lenses arrived. oakley is great, ads not so much due to poor customer service

Gregory, We hate to hear that you’re still unhappy. As you know, your order was held up while we waited for you to respond to our requests for more accurate information. The initial Pupilary Distance (distance between eyes) that you provided was “Infinity”. Then we were given measurements that were out of balance to the right. When the information was resent it was out of balance to the left. A PD Measurement for reading is generally 1.5mm smaller in each eye than when you focus at a distance. The difference in the numbers you sent were about double the expected values. Although you continued to insist that we had all the information we needed, it would have been irresponsible to use measurements that were clearly suspect. Our method of sending a picture to confirm this measurement is extremely accurate, and it just takes a minute to do. Had we received this picture when we requested it there would have been absolutely no delay in this order. We will continue to do everything we can to earn a 5-Star rating on every order we fill. In this case, the only response that was acceptable to our customer was totally inconsistent with responsible business practices. We are meticulously accurate. Most customers expect and appreciate this, and we will not lower our standards as a result of this review. Going forward we will continue to require accurate measurements for all prescription eyewear. Dave DuMais Owner ADS Sports Eyewear

Glasses look great!

I am happy and the glasses fit perfect, I did pay a little more for them then one other web site but after speaking with this young lady at there office I did not care as it seem they are into customer service and she was really polite and very informative, to save a few bucks and have issues was not worth the money I would have saved.

I really didn't save any money over the last time I bought prescription oakleys. Plus, I ended up with shade way too light because I chose it off a website instead of going in and seeing for myself. Edit based upon ADS reply: The initial four star rating was because the issues I had were my own fault (certainly 90% or more my fault anyway). I was unaware of the option to 're-do' Oakley, will contact ADS for new pair (and bump up a star). As for the price, I paid $400 at an expensive eye shop for similar Oakley pair, but that was a few years ago now.

The ADS Sports Eyewear team responded quickly to my questions and concerns, and even helped me place my order. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and followed up efficiently. I was able to save a lot of money by ordering from them rather than from a store or elsewhere online.
