Just like the previous poster, I ordered my RX sunglasses back on Feb 20th, It's now March 28th. Still no glasses. Very poor if any communication on them. Have said they've not passed inspection twice and had to be sent back....really? No response in emails after days of asking. They have several email addresses listed on their web page for communications but no one responds. Terrible customer service and no $472 glasses to comment on. Ticked Off!

I am giving two stars because this company has difficulties being honest and efficient
I am giving two stars because this is my second order with ads sports eyewear. Obviously the first experience was good because I went back. This time, wow!! I ordered 3 weeks ago and emailed them for status. The company NEVER responded. I called today and was given every excuse for every issue. There has been an issue with the servers but they try to answer every email quickly. Seems that it is a common excuse to pass the blame. Where are my glasses? We will be getting them out today. How convenient that you found them when I called. This is a second rate company and will never get my business again.

Service was good for ordering
Service was good for ordering. I paid for special antifog glasses which was the only reason I needed the glasses and the antifog did not work well. The lenses still fog, so not much value there.

Hello Tim,
I looked into your order, and I see you ordered exactly what I would have recommended. When warm air hits a cold lens it will either result in fogging, or in condensation running off the lens. The Anti-Fog coating that was baked in at the lab makes the lens much less porous at a microscopic level. This should have the same effect as waxing your car. Moisture should bead up and run off the surface. The cleaner the lens is, the better this coating will work. Skin oils, sweat, finger prints, etc. will all give the fog something to adhere to.
The Slam Goggle you ordered has better ventilation than just about any other sports goggle on the market. This ventilation should allow hot air out, and cooler air in behind this lens. This Slam model is exponentially better at reducing fogging than models like the Morpheus or the Maxx Series goggles. If you can safely wear this goggle a little less tight, this may allow more air to circulate behind the lens.
So your goggle has good ventilation, and you selected an excellent coating for reducing fog. (That coating will also reduce glare and protect against scratches.) I hate to hear that you are still experiencing fogging with these glasses, and I have to admit I do not have a perfect solution. There is a different anti-fog treatment called Opti-Fog that works extremely well. But you would need to apply a rejuvenator solution to the lens every few months. If you don’t rejuvenate this coating, the lens starts to turn yellow and can become unusable. This coating is also exponentially more expensive than any other option. If you feel that these tradeoffs are worth the additional anti-fog properties, we will remake these lenses and only charge the price difference between the coating you received and the Opti-Fog coating.
If that solution sounds like a good option, please email me directly and I will get this resolved.

Post-order issues
Delayed email follow-up by the original personal helping me with the order.
I subsequently made a generic query through their support section and received a prompt response and action.
The plastic sunglass frame was not 4 pt square on arrival. 1 temple was 3/16" higher than the other, making the glasses unwearable without a trip to my local optician, which was a little embarrassing.
Response from ADS Sports EyewearOct 21, 2016
Andrew, we hate to hear that you are not as satisfied with this order as your last one. We make a concentrated effort to reply to every email as quickly as possible.
No adjustments should have been made to the frame that you sent in. For current Oakley models, we would typically order the prescription lenses from Oakley, and if you choose to send in your frame we would mount the lenses in the frame before shipping it back to you. Because you were ordering lenses for a discontinued model, Oakley requires that we send them the frame. So Oakley mounted the lenses they made in your frame. It is not uncommon for people to have one ear higher than the other. So if the frame was not square, they would not straighten it out. Adjusting a frame requires a frame heater. In rare cases, a frame heater is used when lenses are difficult to mount. So if your frame fit differently when it came back to you, the logical reason seems to be that Oakley needed to heat the frame in order to mount your lenses.
We regret that this reflected poorly on ADS Sports Eyewear. Oakley typically does quality work, and we are proud to be one of a very few Authorized Oakley Online Rx Dealers. We hope we’ll have another opportunity to make up for the ground we lost on this sale.

Not as expected
Customer service has been acceptable, but while my protective goggles look good, I am unable to use them as I want. They fog up when I play racquetball, even though I use an anti-fogging treatment each time before I play. The goggles fit so closely to my face that air does not circulate, and the problem with fogging stops me from being able to use them.
Response from ADS Sports EyewearJul 8, 2016
Herman,
We hate to hear that this fogging issue has had such a negative impact on your opinion of ADS Sports Eyewear. Perhaps the following information will help minimize this problem.
Fogging, or condensation, will occur when warm air from your face contacts a colder lens surface. An anti-fog paste like the one found on our accessories page will make the lens less porous, so this condensation is more likely to run off the lens instead of adhering to it. Keeping the lens clean is also important. A lens with sweat, body oils or fingerprints will fog much faster than a clean lens.
Venting the heat away from the back of the lens is the fastest way to clear fogging. Don’t wear these goggles any tighter than needed. An option for the future may be the new Slam Series on the Rec Specs page, These have vented padding that is designed to help reduce fogging. These not only move the glasses further away from the heat of your face, the vents provide a place where the heat can escape.
One easy solution is to keep your goggles out of air conditioning as much as possible. If you’re driving somewhere, keep your goggles in the trunk. The larger the temperature difference is between your face and your lenses, the faster the lens will fog.
Fogging occurs naturally when warm, humid air contacts a colder lens. Athletes of all varieties have struggled with this annoyance for years, and there is no perfect solution. Hopefully these tips will make it easier for you to combat this issue in the future.

Buyer Beware
This is the second time I purchased prescription sunglasses from ADS. Both times they made mistakes with my lenses and both orders needed to be remade.
The first time they errored (about 3 years ago) by making me regular prescription lenses instead of the progressive bifocals that I ordered. Soon as I received my glasses and wore them for 30 seconds, I knew the lenses were wrong. Needless to say, I had to return the glasses and the second time around the lab "got it right". But why did ADS not check the final product before it was sent to me to ensure the lab made the proper lenses?
A second pair of prescription sunglasses (I purchased a few months ago) also had incorrect lenses. The prescription in one eye was wrong and both lenses were improperly aligned. Again I returned the glasses and they were remade after waiting three weeks. And now they are fine.
It seems that ADS workmanship is very sloppy and their quality control is very poor or non-existent. In addition, their staff (at least the persons answering the phone and providing customer service) do not appear knowledgeable and can answer only the most basic questions about their frames and prices. Because of this, I spoke with the “manger” who was the only person capable of answering my questions and properly taking my order. Yet, when all said and done, my glasses still were made incorrectly.
Also, ADS also made a mistake on my final invoice and neglected to properly credit my account. Only after I looked at my credit card statement did I discover that ADS did not refund to me $45 that was due. When I called and told them of the error, they said the money would be refunded immediately. It was only after two weeks when I called them again that I finally received my refund.
ADS charges top dollar for their products. One would expect top service and quality. Both are lacking.

Mr. Kurland, I’m disappointed that you feel a need to warn the public about our organization. Three years ago we rushed your order through in order to get them to you before you left town. Although we were able to beat the deadline needed to get the glasses to you in time for this trip, in the rush to get these out on time we did not get the progressive corridor in the glasses.
On the most recent pair, the prescription was made exactly to the prescription we were given. After the glasses were made, your doctor changed the axis in the left eye by 5 degrees. We remade the lenses at no charge, so I’m surprised you would report this service as slow and sloppy.

Extremely disappointed in the privlock shooting prescription glasses. Impossible to change lenses.
I want my money back
Response from ADS Sports EyewearJul 23, 2015
Brian, I’m not aware of any request for a refund or redo. We certainly don’t want anyone to keep anything they do not like. The Pivlock that you ordered has a very well designed lens interchange system. Occasionally it takes a bit more effort to pop the temple pieces off and on until the frame is broken in, but this has never been an issue. The lenses you have are unbreakable, and that ballistics rated frame has a Lifetime Warranty. So don’t worry about breaking anything as you remove and replace the temples on each lens shield. I recommend a “take no prisoners” approach until this frame is broken in. If you still hate the glasses, send them back. You’ll receive a 100% refund or we can exchange them for something you like better.

Not really happy with my glasses, vision too distorted.
There is quite a bit of distortion in the lenses, when I scan my eyes side to side, it feels like I'm looking through a distorted glass window, and the prescription definitely looks stronger than what I ordered. After doing some research on the Internet, I knew that trying to get a good pair of prescription glasses would be difficult, and I wonder if they just don't have the technology figured out yet to put the prescription in curved lenses properly. I rode with them for an hour and ended up with a headache. I read about ADS on Joe Friel's blog and was really hoping this would be a high quality product. I emailed them last week and have heard nothing back as of yet. I have a group of riders looking for prescription sunglasses and some of them tried mine on and agreed with me. They may try another company and hope for a better result. Too bad, I was really excited about finally getting prescription cycling glasses.

Chris, this problem will be easy to resolve. The prescription that you entered online when you placed this order is quite different from the one you emailed to us. We will be remaking your lenses based on the updated copy. The prescription that was entered online is so dramatically different from the one that you emailed to us that I’m certain you were quite miserable wearing those glasses. You will be much more impressed with the new Free-Form lens technology once you receive the lenses that we are having remade for you. We are looking forward to your updated review.
