As a mentor, this is a good platform to connect new people around the world.
But the only downside here for me as an Indonesian is the limitation regarding the ADPList advanced feature that requiring using Stripe and limited options for my potential mentees for processing the payment if any.
I only expect that this can be solved by having a local integration and payment gateway, so people in Indonesia can have a seamless experience for the paid / recurring mentoring sessions if any in the future.

Hi Fariz, Felix here! Connecting with people around the world as a mentor is why we built this. You're right that Stripe-only payments are real friction for Indonesian mentors and mentees — local payment options come up a lot and we're taking that seriously. Thank you for writing this so clearly.

The right platform for sharing and helping others
I've been mentoring designers from various countries. It's a great platform for those mentors who really mean it, want to, and are passionate about helping others. Before ADPList, I've mentored a few designers without a platform and so the limit was unclear, which is unhealthy, while I like sharing, teaching and helping others. So this ADPList platform is very helpful for both sides: mentors and mentees. The most memorable moment as a mentor and a mother here was mentoring a new mom with a newborn in Germany while she wanted to navigate her work in design.

Hi Windyasari, Felix here! Mentoring a new mom in Germany while she navigated design work — that story stuck with me. Platforms that set healthy limits so passionate mentors don't burn out matter a lot. Thank you for showing up for designers worldwide.

Good
Sebetulnya, secara website ini sangat nyaman digunakan dan user friendly.
Cuman jujur, akan lebih baik kalo ada fee nya jd kita bisa mengutamakan sesi ADP.
Response from ADPListSep 14, 2026
Hi Rahmalia, Felix here! Terima kasih — glad the site feels comfortable and user-friendly. Heard on wanting paid sessions so you can prioritize ADPList time; making monetization work for mentors is something we're actively figuring out. Appreciate you saying it straight.

A Little Discussion to Enhance My Goal
We talk a lot about the industry, where should I go, and how to make an actionable action towards my goal.
Response from ADPListSep 9, 2026
Hi Rafiq, Felix here! Industry talk that turns into where to go and actionable next steps — that's a good session. Glad it helped sharpen your goal. Book another when you're ready to push further.

Tidak sesuai harapan
Tidak sesuai harapan, tapi enggak papa mungkin salah diaku yang tidak menyiapin materi yg untuk dibahas
Response from ADPListSep 8, 2026
Hi Erlambang, Felix here! Thanks for the honest note. Sessions work best when both sides come prepared — if you want, book another mentor and bring 2–3 specific questions; happy to help you find a better fit.
Appreciate you still giving us four stars.

The mentee is a recent University…
The mentee is a recent University Graduate applying for his first position. He needed guidance on CV preparation and presentation. He is knowledgeable and, in my opinion, well prepared. It was a very nice experience.

Hi Jose, Felix here! Thank you for supporting a recent graduate at such an important moment in his career.
Preparing a CV and applying for that first position can feel daunting, and thoughtful guidance from someone experienced can make a real difference.
I’m glad the session was a good experience for you too. Mentors like you, who recognize a mentee’s strengths and help them present those strengths clearly, are what make ADPList work.
Since you left four stars, I’d also love to know what would have made the experience even better. You can reach me at felix(at)adplist(dot)org.
Thank you for mentoring with us!

Helpful Mentors and Actionable Advice
I started using ADPList as part of a requirement for a training program, where we were encouraged to book mentorship sessions for a month. I didn't expect it to become something I'd continue using beyond the program, but it has.
So far, my experience has been very positive. The mentors I've met have shared valuable, actionable insights that have helped me identify areas for improvement, and I'm already implementing their feedback.
What I appreciate most is the variety of mentors available across different career paths, making it easy to find someone whose experience aligns with your goals.
One tip I'd give new users is to book multiple mentorship sessions with different mentors. Occasionally, a mentor may be unavailable or unable to attend, so having other sessions scheduled helps you stay on track and gain diverse perspectives.
The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the occasional mentor no-shows. Aside from that, my experience has been excellent.
Overall, if you're looking for free or paid mentorship to accelerate your learning and career growth, I'd definitely recommend giving ADPList a try.

Hi Ibiye, Felix here! Love that you came for a training program and stayed, that is the best outcome we could ask for. And thank you for being straight about the reason for the fourth star. Mentor no-shows are the most frustrating thing that can happen on ADPList, because you set aside time and showed up ready.
Our mentors are volunteers giving their time for free, so life sometimes gets in the way, but that should be rare, and we do act on mentors who repeatedly miss sessions.
If you ever get a no-show, email me at felix(at)adplist(dot)org with the mentor's name, and I will look into it personally.
Your tip about booking multiple mentors is genuinely good advice, and I hope the fifth star is ours to earn back.

Easy to use
I think the site is easy to use, and I can see the new improvement released. I ran into 2-3 times google sign-in failure errors. Hopefully can make it more robust. Overall, this is good.
Response from ADPListJul 24, 2026
Hi Nedved, Felix here! Thank you for noticing the improvements and for bearing with the Google sign-in failures.
I checked your account personally. It is active and correctly connected to Google now, and everything indicates it should sign in normally. We’ve been working through reliability issues in this flow, but 2–3 failed attempts is still not acceptable.
If it happens again, email me at felix(at)adplist(dot)org with the approximate time, and I’ll trace that specific attempt directly.
Thank you for helping us make ADPList more robust!
