TRAVEL INSURANCE with Admiral ADTRV/329592 Have you had this experience ? I am in the middle of my first ever travel insurance claim I booked a months holiday but fell very ill en route I had to drive 700 miles home a very difficult drive home I was so ill and nearly called 111 for the first 3 nights my temperature was so high, outside it rained and rained. I have every detail and reciept to back my claim. I was far to unwell to go to the doctors in those first 3 days and did not want to pass this on to others. But now my claim is in DOUBT whether they can help me. I did go to the doctors I was still so unwell when I got my doctor appointment she gave me antibiotics .. I am told I should have gone to the doctors to validate my claim as the illness was happening.. But the doctors say if you have flu stay away use paracetamol .. and I don't have a wife to go and help me. you just want to survive and get well. I felt I was insured I filled every form perfectly I will keep you posted Update I did get back only my Airbnb stay money.. Not my ferry crossings nor Hotel stay.. no Petrol to get me home ..Nothing to help me be repatriated to my home country. Surely holiday insurance helps you get home ???? But not with Admiral Oh they made me work so hard to get invoices details emails of things they had no intention of honouring ADTRV/329592
