Jim M.
buyer beware lesson learned.
I ordered a pair of 25 and two pairs of 10's in October. I eventually received my 10's in late January, but the 25's were shipped about the same time, but they were damaged on route and UPS claimed they were going to return them to the seller. I was supposed to contact the shipper for further instructions. That was right before AD4M went out of business, so when I contacted UPS and explained that the shipper was no longer in business, they informed me the plates were "destroyed". I did manage to get a refund from Paypal for the 25s (less shipping costs), so I feel somewhat satisfied with my experience, apart from the long delay. I got my 10s and a refund for the nondelivered 25s. I learned a valuable lesson when dealing with unknown websites, buyer beware! This bring me to the next part of my experience and the reason why I am posting my "story". I couldn't help but notice the AD4M website lists some recommendations as to where you can buy plates and in the middle of the usual companies, one little know site named barbellstandard.com stands out. I thought it was odd and when I clicked on the link and perused, I couldn't help but notice website looked very familiar in the layout. It left me with the impression AD4M is now BarbellStandard.
