AcuraReviews of acura.com

First let me start by saying that I've been with Acura/Honda for many years, and have purchased/leased multiple vehicles from them with no issues. In July 2025 I leased a 2024 Acura ZDX Type S EV. Within a few weeks of leasing, my vehicle was in the shop a couple of times for service leveling system issues. In December 2025 my vehicle had heating issues, and they did a software update and told me all was good. A couple weeks later same thing happened, brought it back, was told my vehicle parts were on backorder and they had to replace the AC system or something to that effect. They told me the parts wouldn't be here for about 2 months. I ended up leasing another vehicle and after 45 days my car was in the shop hired Rockpoint Law and sent them a demand notice back in March 2026. To date they have not responded back despite multiple requests from my attorney's office and another email was sent to Acura Relations today 07/5/2026, if they do not respond my attorney's office will file civil suit against Acura. This is poor customer service for someone that has multiple vehicles from them, and all I asked them for was 2 months refund my vehicle was in the shop and for them to cancel out my lease and update my credit report as lease paid in full/closed satisfactory. If Acura does not make this right within the next 30 days, they will lose all my business and I will take my business over to Lexus, BMW, or Mercedes. Acura do the right thing and let's put this accidental defect behind us. I'm willing to stay a loyal customer since I have no other issues with any of my other vehicles, but ghosting me and not returning calls or emails is unacceptable and poor business ethics. If you will make this right I will update the rating and posting.

Terrible customer service. I own an MDX and have had issues with the paint peeling (there was a warranty recall on it years ago). They fixed the top of the vehicle but refused to paint the tailgate at the time and now the paint is peeling through no fault of my own. I have been fighting for the last 4 months with them and they refuse to do anything. Very slow process, poor communication, very poor customer service. I will never own another Acura

Car dealers differ significantly from one location to another. Some can be horror houses, but Acura of Peabody in Peabody, MA has been great (except once a sales guy stopped me when I grabbed a soda....I had spent thousands of dollars on parts and I regret I didn't report this guy to American Honda's HQ). Mike at the parts department had retired last year. Mike gave me great deals on hundreds of parts, and as we shared very similar values we used to talk until another customer showed up. I miss Mike and now I go there a lot less frequently. Steve at the service department is another treasure that AofP possesses. Steve is highly knowledgable in electronics, especially ECU and other control units. If someone reading this lives in the area, ask for Steve to work on your Acura. Courtesy car wash is a nice touch. Keep up the great work.

My 8th Honda/Acura product, and my last. 2023 Integra has been the least reliable car I have ever owned--more problems in 38k miles than the other 7 Honda/Acura vehicles combined. Worse, the only dealer in the state is either incompetent or dishonest. A safety recall was not accomplished properly, was fraudulently cleared in the NHTSA database, and a random MDX tail light part number added to the invoice to make it look legit. It did to me at first until I realized the steering hadn't been fixed and looked up the part number. American Honda took zero responsibility and did nothing except insist they had seen photographic proof that the correct part was installed. They refused to share claimed proof of course. Brand loyalty means nothing. Safety recalls are not taken seriously. Customer service is insulting. What kind of company leaves a customer with an unsafe vehicle to save a few hundred bucks? Unloading this unsupported lemon as soon as I fix the defective steering for which the government issued the safety recall--on my own dime.

I have always trusted the Honda brand, and Acura in particular, for the reliability of their vehicles. While I still agree with that reputation, the experience changes completely if you are involved in an accident. I had an accident on 3/14 and informed the Acura call center the same day. They told me no further information was needed. My insurance company found a body shop, and all parts were ordered by 3/19. However, a couple of weeks later, I was informed that one of the parts is on backorder, and the body shop has been unable to get any information from Acura. I have personally contacted customer service to try to get an update, but after three emails and three calls over the last two weeks, I still have no information on when I will be able to use my car again. This process should not be this difficult. It is disappointing to be forced to drive a rental car for two months of a 24-month lease because of a lack of communication and parts availability!!!

I went to buy a Acura RDX. I explained that I wanted to pay with cash. I asked about a lease and they ran with it. I thought I could change it for a newer one and they screwed me. Acura of Brooklyn locked me in a contract. I one I got from them was not New. I went somewhere else. And Paragon I explained what happened and they got me again. They are making me pay for two cars. My payment will pay over a hundred thousand dollars. My payment is 1420 a month.

This review is specifically meant to describe my experience with Cerritos.Acura of California. I had a very disappointing experience with Cerritos Acura. I was quoted a specific price via text message, which I confirmed before making the trip. Based on that written quote, I drove roughly 70 miles to the dealership. Once there, I spent time with the vehicle, test drove it, and genuinely fell in love with the car. Only after investing all that time did the dealership suddenly change the deal and add an additional $1,000 that was never mentioned in the original quote. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch situation. If the price was not accurate, that should have been disclosed upfront—especially before asking a customer to travel such a long distance. Changing the deal at the last minute wasted my time and felt dishonest. I would strongly advise anyone considering Cerritos Acura to get everything in writing and be cautious, as the final numbers may not match what you’re initially quoted.

Many problems with my Acura RDX 2021. First the rooftop was misaligned, the motor had error codes due to required updates, which led to lost of acceleration and some times, accelaration without touch the pedal, and finally, failure of the solenoids which led to the continuous loss of the AWD.. and all of this under 80,000km of usage. Never had a vehicule with so many deficiences and lack of quality. Ohh and to add to this, they tighten the galiper bolt so much that I had to go to the garage just to loosen them so I can replace the brakes.... shitty built! I would not recommend buying an Acura.
