A bit of a learning curve,
A bit of a road to travel to get the swing of Acuity scheduling and it seems much more convoluted and clunky than it should be but it performs wonderfully. Sadly, I often recommend it to clients with Squarespace websites but they are often cautious because the average user (non web design/developer) has a really hard time with it. So it often requires extra time on my part to assure them it will be functional once I set it up.

Change of month
I like it but, i loose a lot of appointments when its end of the month... clients don't get that they have to click on top to change month to see availability... they see calendar in grey and think its fully booked...

I probably would’ve given it 3 1/2…
I probably would’ve given it 3 1/2 stars of this had been an option. One big positive is that customers do not need to create a One big positive is that customers do not need to create an account or login to book online. For the most part, Acuity suits our needs however, as we have grown, we have found its flexibility is limited. With multiple therapists and various rooms available we have had to develop a lot of workarounds to make it suit our business model. Additionally, we have had quite a few problems with Acuity connecting to our Square reader for payment processing from the appointment screens. It also does not seem to work well with our iPads that we have used with our Square for retail. It’d be great if Acuity included a retail function so that we would not have to have two different systems. One last thing is that gift certificate certificates in Acuity are separate from those in Square, so therefore, we can only sell them through the booking software and then must manually work with them if applied to retail purchases.

Great, but not intuitive
I love all that this app can do, but I find the back end really confusing every time I try to do things. It's not intuitive and things are buried in weird places. I wish there was a way to give feedback about what makes it challenging because it really does great things and the systems should be made a bit less convoluted.

SUPER helpful!
Since there are a lot of little things to edit, it can take some time to get used to it, but once you learn about how it works, it is SUPER helpful!

Love the ease of scheduling appointments
Love the ease of students booking for themselves. The only thing I wish it had, was the opportunity for a confirmation email or text to be sent two days or so before hand where the student could confirm or cancel the appointment. I believe this would cut down a large portion of our no shows.

Thank you for the review! It's great to hear you're having a smooth experience. While we are not able to provide timelines on a dedicated 'confirm/cancel' feature, user feedback is taken into account when updates are made. In the meantime, you can absolutely cut down on no-shows by setting up an automatic Reminder Email to go out 2 days before the appointment. You can customize the text to ask them to reply, or use the built-in links allowing them to cancel if they can no longer make it. It would be great to have 1 day…
It would be great to have 1 day schedule possible. I would love to sell service that are one day long such as a photobooth (Saturday mainly) It would be also cool to be able to archive some type of appointment. Other than that I like it a lot

Best on the market, but needs some tweaks
Scheduling for both me and my clients is straightforward. I like that I can choose to accept payments online or offline. I am particularly impressed by the calendar view; it syncs well with gCal, I can easily change and add appointments, and block off time. I do wish I could create an invoice by selecting appointments rather than having to manually do each one. Also batch rescheduling is limited to only 30 min increments from the original appointment time; if I wanted to change a 3:15 Tues appointment to a 2:30 Wed appointment, there is no option to do it at one time. I can only change the 3:15 to hours with :15 or :45 at the end. It's the bets scheduling software I've found thus far, but I'm hoping for more improvements going forward!
