I would like to see more advanced features. For instance, sending out marketing emails via Acuity based upon the frequency of attendance, advertising specials and new services, etc. Marketing. I would like to sent them a reminder test or email, for instance, an automatic text to clients reminding them that it is 4 weeks past their last Brazilian and they should now reschedule. ...and other advanced features...

Good for customizing types of appointments, resources, and email notifications. The customization includes colors for different types and lengths of appointments.

We really LOVED Acuity for our small business. It is nimble, customizable, and pretty easy to get help within the app. Then Squarespace bought them and things weren't great, but still pretty good. We were fortunate that we had things set up for automation before that. Not as easy to get help. Multiple signons required and still to this day years later that is a daily thing on every device. Then they announced that to continue using Acuity Scheduling we had no choice but to use one of very few credit cards processors... Stripe, Square or Paypal. All notoriously expensive by comparison. Eventually we chose Square and are relatively happy. But it's disheartening to see nearly everything go this way. A great company with a loyal following gets sold, customer service suffers, they make deals with others so that customers have no/few choices and a few big ones monopolize the market, customer service further suffers and no one cares because there are few choices and the thought of starting all over is unappealing, customer services suffers more until it's nearly non-existent, rinse and repeat over and over. Seems that all businesses use the same formula these days.

I really like how easy it is for customers to use and book appointments. Its also really good for allowing me to take deposits! Really enjoying it. A bit pricey for a small business but worth it!

Pretty good. Links work well and the customer link is user friendly. Back end could be more intuitive but I will get used to it.

Acuity Scheduling is a great app! It is very convenient and have everything I need to make booking less complicated for my clients and myself! Pros: Acuity Scheduling gives me the opportunity to work away from the app and still be in the know about everything that’s going on! It allows me the option to customize my booking information and my booking site to what’s comfortable for me and my business. It allows clients privacy and security when booking their services. Though clients book their appointments automatically, it gives me the option to reject an appointment if necessary. Acuity Scheduling is one of the few booking sites I know that allows you to pay full price or the deposit upon booking. Overall Acuity Scheduling is a good software program. Cons: Though I haven’t had any bad experiences with Acuity Scheduling, I believe that clients should be able to book their appointments through social media links without the business owner being on a paid plan. The app is very comfortable and supportive but having to book clients appointments instead of them booking themselves makes it difficult when there are many clients to keep up with at once. I think accepting online payments should be only utilized under a paid plan, and maybe even the number of clients you can accept, but clients not being able to book on social media could be a big disturbance and maybe even turn away potential clients.

The best part of Acuity scheduling is that it offers more relevant features than most of its competitors. Price wise, it's definitely the best in the market. Working with the platform on Acuity seems manageable as well - we plan on integrating the Acuity scheduling with our website and Acuity allows users to personalize and fetch data from existing platform such as google and stripe. All in all, everything looks great. I wish the customer service was more proactive. I know while doing my research, many of the competitors set up meetings, went over detailed processes in an online meeting and a few even took care of the entire integration process. Acuity is more of DIY software in that case. With that being said, it is still quite user friendly and easy to use. Just as long as the integration goes as planned.
