I own and run two pool service franchise locations, and I joined Action Academy in September because I want to grow by buying businesses. I'm still early in the program, but being around people who are actually out there doing deals has already been worth a lot to me. The deal flow and the access to capital partners are things I couldn't put together on my own. If you're serious about buying a business and you're willing to put in the work, this is a good place to start.

AAC is a great and supportive community…
AAC is a great and supportive community for business and investment growth.
I love that the focus is on setting up yourself as a strong business owner rather than chasing a quick buck.
The community is big on self accountability, growth as a business owner, growth as a leader, and growth as a person.

It took me a year to join this group…
It took me a year to join this group, I did my digging, I questioned a thousand different things and then finally decided to give it a shot and OMG! I just wish I would’ve done it sooner! I didn’t know anything about business acquisition, I just knew I didn’t want to work for someone else forever. Within the first 30 days, I learned and completely my buybox, the entire process behind all the different avenues I could pick, and made connections with ppl that were 5 years ahead of me. Their education platform to learn all of this is easy to understand too which is something I appreciated since I didn’t know all the technical language. Within 6 months, I found a capital partner for a deal, went through all the diligence, and now fast forward another 6 months we are set to close on my first business at the end of September!

It's all about the people
I was looking for a business on my own for 12 months with very little progress. 6 months in Action Academy and I've met some great partners, submitted 2 LOI's, with a 3rd one on the way. The knowledge is great. The people are the true value though. I highly recommend.

I joined Action Academy in October 2025…
I joined Action Academy in October 2025 and ultimately felt misled by the program’s marketing and promises. Number one lie Brian tells you to scam you out of 10k: “you can buy a business with little or now money, we have capital partners. “ this is a huge lie. First of all there are no capital partners in action academy- just Brian if he likes your deals and feels you are deemed worthy to fund by him, second -you need experience to be approved by SBA, 3rd you need 10% down payment plus 10% in the bank reserves (20% total).
While I was familiar with many online entrepreneurship “guru” narratives, I overlooked early red flags. One notable example was the founder, Brian Luebben, emphasizing his background as a top salesperson at his previous company before leaving his job. In my experience, he appeared to lack substantial operational business experience.
As of May 2026, concerns I have observed include:
• His associated ventures, such as a distillery and an Alaska tour company, reportedly facing significant challenges.
• Heavy reliance on high-pressure sales tactics reminiscent of programs by Alex Hormozi, frequent name-dropping of figures like Tony Robbins, and promotion of expensive international high-ticket events.
• A perceived inner-circle dynamic within the group, where “founding members” seem to receive preferential treatment, including better access to opportunities, while others who do not continually participate in paid events may feel sidelined or excluded.
• The community can feel cliquey, with limited depth of practical, actionable coaching or resources beyond surface-level information. You don’t pay to play, you get blackballed.
Member experience levels in the group generally appear relatively recent (mostly 3–4 years), and the program emphasizes deal participation and access to capital partners. However, based on what I witnessed, funding and deal opportunities seem disproportionately allocated to a small inner circle rather than broadly available to all paying members. The $10,000 membership fee is positioned as providing entry to these networks, yet in practice, it primarily appeared to support the founder’s lifestyle and content creation, with additional high-ticket events required to potentially access deeper involvement.
At the one international event I attended, conversations I overheard reinforced my impression that the model is heavily geared toward membership recruitment and event upsells rather than equitable investment in participants’ success. Much of the business advice shared felt generic and lacking in substantive value.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering this or similar programs conduct thorough due diligence. Look for established masterminds with a track record spanning 10+ years, verifiable long-term results, accessible and experienced mentors, and a mature community environment. There are reputable groups available that prioritize genuine support over high-pressure sales and exclusivity.
In my view, Action Academy may struggle to retain members as more people share similar experiences. I encourage potential members to proceed with caution and avoid committing large sums without clear evidence of return on investment for all participants—not just a select few.

I have been in AAC for a few years and…
I have been in AAC for a few years and have had great experiences with Investing alongside others in the community, raising capital for our own deals, and even purchasing deals from members as well. For me as a someone who was just starting out in commercial real estate investing to now having a $10m portfolio of self storage and rentals it is a great fit for all experience levels. It is also the first group I have been a part of that feels more like a community vs. a course!

I have been in Action Academy since its inception. It’s remarkable the growth of the community and members over the last few years. When I joined AAC I had just purchased my first “househack” and was scared to death trying to fill units. I have since acquired numerous residential properties and closing on my 5th storage facility this week. Before joining the community, I didn’t even know what commercial assets were. This group is for the movers and shakers, and if you are ready to contribute, there’s not a better place to be.

When my husband and I joined action…
When my husband and I joined action Academy, we had recently gone under contract for a small business. We realized after receiving the bank terms that we needed support through this process.
We interviewed with a few other masterminds, and we felt that AAC was the best fit for us, because they are not asset specific. We also invest in real estate so we wanted to keep that door open!
As soon as we joined, we were thrown into an office hour calls, and because of that call, we were given the knowledge to negotiate our bank terms with the seller to allow the deal to work better for us.
AAC has every module and person you will ever need for any deal within it; however, AAC is what you put into it. AAC is a serving community, and you must be active, which makes it even more top-tier.
I highly recommend AAC, and I look forward to our lifelong membership, with the people I’ve made lifelong connections with.
