They sold my terminally ill 80 year old mother a stair lift, when she could not even walk to the stairs, she had to be carried there! disgraceful. 4.5k charged. it was used for a little over a week before she was admitted to a hospice and she died 12 days later. Just a few days over the 14 days cooling off period! NO MONEY OFFERED BACK or to collect it. Put on hold for ages and no response ! eventually got through and its 4 -6 weeks before they can collect it.

Every time I need a repair on the chair lift, which is many, it takes 2 weeks to a month for someone to come and fix it. I purchased it because I can not use the stairs so the repair time is unacceptable. I've had to get a hotel room just to wait for a repair since I live alone. People who buy this product obviously NEED it. Acorn needs to hire more technicians or make customers aware prior to purchase of the long waits for repair!

Was told because we used” refer a friend “to get our new stairlift we would both get £50. This would be sent out usually within 2 weeks. Almost three months later we are still without any money. Acorn quick in taking the money but not forthcoming paying out.
