A 29 To a 35 With a Month's Practice
Studying for the ACT has always been incredibly draining and frustrating because I didn't know what questions there were and thus I didn't know what I needed to improve on when I practiced questions. Acely does an excellent job of explaining specifically what is going to be on the ACT and where you need to improve. It outlines subtopics for each main topic (like statistics, geometry, algebra, etc for math, scientific investigation and interpretation of data for Science and more). Every time you practice with questions, it will tell you exactly which subtopic within math, science, english, or reading you need to work on. It also gives an overall percentage of how well you're doing based on the accuracy of your answers, along with percentages for the subtopics. There's at least 10 full length practice tests with science (although there is no writing section nor practice) and even more practice questions for each topic. You're also given an AI chatbot to help explain why an answer is correct or incorrect, and it can answer questions that you have about the ACT in general or the specifics of each question. If you don't like AI, I don't believe there is a way to turn it off. There's also an automatic study plan created for you based on your practice-test performance which gives you the amount of questions you should study a day (I personally found it more beneficial to just use the practice question bank instead of the given daily questions). I practiced a total of 31 days over the span of 2 months, averaging 30-45 minutes a day of practice (along with note-taking) and I improved my score from a composite 29 (taken April 2026) to a composite 35 (taken October 2026). Specifically, I originally had an English score of 26, a Science score of 28, a Math score of 29, and Reading score of 31 which went to an English score of 36, a Science score of 33, a Math score of 34, and a Reading score of 35. It's an incredibly amazing tool that makes practicing for the ACT a lot less stressful and much more straightforward. I highly recommend this for people who want a straight forward and easy-to-access program.
