We take concerns about question quality very seriously and have been actively working to improve in this area over the past year. Since you last used our platform in early July, our curriculum team has conducted a thorough audit of our questions to remove questions that don't meet our standards. We are regularly adding new questions that align with the latest versions of the tests, and we have become official partners with ACT.org. It’s clear you put a lot of time and effort into preparing for the SAT, so we understand how disappointing it must have been to see a 1400 on the real test when you were aiming for a 1500. We can especially understand your frustration with the difference between your 750 Acely English score and your 640 on the actual SAT. While we're glad to hear that you found the math practice accurate, the English discrepancy you experienced is something we take very seriously. Practice results should give students a useful picture of where they stand—not leave them feeling more confident than their actual performance supports. Your feedback about the English questions is genuinely helpful, and we’ve shared it with our curriculum and product teams. We want Acely’s practice to feel as close to the real SAT as possible, and feedback like this helps us see where we still have work to do. As promised, we’ve fully refunded your subscription. I know how frustrating it is to have surprise charges and feel like your requests are being ignored. We treat these reports seriously. We regularly screen our support channels and typically reply to every email sent to [email protected] within one (1) business day. We have checked our current communications logs and do not have any record of an outstanding message of this nature. However, we want to make sure that there was no technical failure in delivery or routing that would prevent us from receiving your request. We need a couple of details to find your account and investigate this for you. I'm really sorry for the frustration this caused. We processed a full refund as soon as we received your email, and we've reached out directly to make sure everything is resolved. For context, our system currently sends renewal reminders to the student's email associated with the account. We know this isn't ideal for families, and we're actively working on an update that will allow parents to also receive renewal reminders and manage billing directly in the product. In the meantime, your plan can always be canceled via the student's account or by emailing us, and our support team of real people responds to every request. Per our email communication, it appears the cancellation request was submitted after the payment was already in progress. Thank you so much for reaching out to our team! We truly apologize for the miscommunication and inconvenience caused. Although our support team is available daily from 6:00am - 4:00pm Pacific Daylight Time, the automated billing for the Acely plans processes exactly 72 hours (3 days) after the time an individual trial is initiated. This means the payments are occasionally processed when our team is offline. We certainly didn’t intend to cause you and your family any undue stress. Per our email communication, we issued a full refund for your subscription once our team was back online, on 5/25/2025.
