Accredo Health Group, Inc.Reviews of accredo.com

THIS COMPANY IS NOT RUN BY PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT AND CARES LITTLE ABOUT SERVING ITS CUSTOMERS. CONSTANT FOUL UPS AND MIS=COMMUNICATION AMONG THEIR STAFF. ITS ALL ABOUT THE $$$ SAVE THE GRIEF AND SIGN UP WITH AMBER PHARMACY(MY FORMER PHARMACY BEFORE RETIREMENT0

They will tell you your prescription is in the mail and only arrives about 50% of the time. When you ask them about it after the promised date, they will blame your insurance or say your prescription has expired even if prescription is only a couple months old and your insurance hasn’t changed. They do not belong in business as a specialty pharmacy as they are dealing with people who depend on their medications for serious illnesses.

Accredo pharmacy is inefficient at best and ineffective at worse. My biological medicine now is requiring to go through the morass that is ineptly run outfit. A medicine that I take monthly almost did not happen without complaints up the ladder to higher levels at the call center. There are multiple different groups within the group and getting each groups direct line helps slightly. My medicine took a month to get approved even though BCBX pays. BCBX had given approval for 1 year to purchase the medication through my doctor and the prescription was still valid. I had to go through the process of appeal with Accredo for a medication that was already approved. Finally got the medication a few days late. 28 days later I am trying to get my medication early so I have it in time. Spent 45 min trying to get the refill. Btw the app does not work for refills if the medication goes to doctor office. Worst PBM ever

Where do I start? I met with my rheumatologist on June 5th. They prescribed be a biometric bc I was in so much pain - unable to walk, confined to my bed and bedridden. He prescribed me something to get it into my system and get things moving so that I could have somewhat of my life back. I am 35, and a mom of two children. My kids both have birthday next month, and are turning 6 and 1. Here we are July 6th. Exactly one month later, and still waiting for my prescription that they’ve had in their possession for over a month. Upon reviewing my call log, I’ve spent over 15 hours on the phone with Accredo in attempts to get my Rx. Last week I was told I needed to speak with SaveOn, which I’ve done 3x now. Then was told Friday (after being on phone for hour 45 mins w/ Accredo), that Id get a call within 2 hours advising me my Rx would ship & I should be expecting Saturday delivery. However, no such call was received. I called back 7 hours later, to be advised it would ship Monday. Here we are Thurs, no call. I took it upon myself to call today (since they again failed to call) and was told the previous rep lied, they don’t ship on Fridays & that we are still waiting for approval and that I should hear something soon. When is soon? What takes 4 weeks to be approved? I’m so frustrated. In pain. And honestly past the point of angry. I’ve never met a pharmacy with poorer customer service who doesn’t give a hoot about their patients. If I could give zero stars I would.

I spent over 20 hours on phone calls between Accredo and Express scripts. Each time when express scripts stalled the doctors prescription, I never got a call. Dr never got a call. The biologic just didnt show up on time. First it is pre-auth. Then it is a Checklist of questions the dr has to answer. Son was over a week late for his biologic at that point. They do not understand that if he starts developing antibodies to the biologic if a dose is missed then he needs DOUBLE the dose. That is counterintuitive to their bottom line which we all know is the reason for the corporate infrastructure and hoops in the first place. A couple calls took so long on hold I got disconnected and had to start all over. First 10 questions from a call center. Then waiting and a customer care person also goes through the questions and then I get on hold and a pharmacy tech also has the questions only to say that express scripts is holding up the medicine. Call express scripts. Same call center, questions, etc etc etc. A normal person does not have time or patience for this. I gave up vacation time. I can never get that time back. Anyway, I had three different "CARE" reps tell me his med would be overnighted. One week later I have no calls and no med. I call them and get a recording that accredo is no longer your specialty pharmacy. One week and nobody called me. I call my work insurance manager. 6 days later I hear nothing and call back to work insurance manager and she said that yesterday they told her they were filling his biologic. I told her we are going with another insurance, his secondary. They filled it in 2 days and it will be here in morning. ThEN accredo decides to call. Aking if they should NOT fill it now. I told them it will take two weeks to get it from accredo and they were late many times and had to get my phone call many times to overnight it. This company does not care. They are the most ridiculous excuse for a pharmacy I could EVER dream up. I do not think Florida should allow them to do business in FLORIDA. Stomped on patients rights!

By far the worst pharmacy I have ever used. The representatives are not helpful and often will outright lie to get you off the phone. My Xolair medication has to be administered on a strict schedule and thanks to Accredo I have missed this consistently with delayed shipping or their back office making mistakes. This place is an absolute nightmare. Speak to your doctor and medical insurance to find an alternative.

Accredo is absolutely the worst specialty pharmacy. They are incompetent and cannot send medications on time which endangers the health of patients. They have been 10-14 days late with shipping my medication, xolair, every month for over 6 months straight. I spent hours and hours and hours on the phone with Accredo trying to sort multiple delays out with them and even talked to management several times. Accredo just has no idea what they are doing and they are terribly unorganized. Accredo would schedule my medication shipment, date, but then the medication never shows up! I would call again, and Accredo would give a random reason each time like: Accredo failed to file the correct co-pay insurance; Accredo needs another PA every few months or needs a special authorization; the Accredo pharmacist has a question about my prescription (which had not changed in years). Accredo is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. This has been detrimental to my health. I informed my insurance company and begged my doctor to send me to local infusion center. Accredo is not worth the terrible health that results from their incompetence, their disorganization and their inefficiency, The only thing that Accredo does consistently is FAIL to do a good job.

first off this is the worst pharmacy ever my 5 yr old son has to take a very expensive medication about 1500.00 per shot and if he misses one shot or takes 4-5 days late he will need 2 shots as a refresher which insurance will not pay for well here we are 16 days past his medication they didnt care and don't care about the patients mind you I called them every day for over a month telling them I was running out and was going to need more I they assured me it's on the way which it was not and now they refuse to eat the cost of the extra medication my son has to take because of there stupidity and incompetence worst pharmacy ever had this been log or death my son would be dead then they continue to make up excuses why it didn't come and as soon as i told them I been recording all our conversations we had for the last month the got upset and said that I broke the rules of acreedo pharmacy lol why because I have proof your a bunch of lying sacks of crap
