This has to be the most incompetent company I ever dealt with! The billing department is a complete nightmare. No one can help you and you have to allow an hour+ every time you call. I have a book full of names, dates, & lengths of phone calls. I have talked with agents, supervisor's, billing supervisor's and I can't get anywhere with this company! Unfortunately my insurance requires me to use this pharmacy and it is literally the worst!

I have written to Accredo 12 times and have gotten no response. I am being billed for medication I am receiving (4 times and counting). There does not appear to have anyone smart enough to resolve problem. I wish I had another place to go.

All of a sudden I can't log onto the website, called twice and got lied to both times, the people who work there are rude and condescending. Going to see if I can switch my meds from this crappy place, Accredo should be put out of business.

I am also giving a 1 Star because you can’t give anything less. 5 and 1/2 years ago, I had a Liver Transplant. This requires taking an Anti-Rejection Drug. Today is January 23, 2025. I have been trying to get my Medication for 23 days and still haven’t received my Medication. I take my last dose tomorrow and after that, I will go into Rejection. They were filing My Claims the wrong way and I continuously got “Denials”. I was told that My Medication would be “Overnighted” to me. As of this date, the written prescription was still laying on Someone’s Desk. I explained the urgency of this Medication and it fell on Deaf Ears. I have never dealt with such totally inept, incompetent, and uncaring people in my Life! I had to contact My very busy Doctor on Six Different Occasions For Prior Authorizations! As of today, they say they still do not have it. After speaking with someone in Upper Management today, a Mr. Reid, he told me that he’d been doing his job a long time and he “knew what he was doing”. He then proceeded to tell me that I didn’t know what I was talking about and I didn’t know what I was doing. Believing that I would die without my Medication, I became overwhelmed and frustrated. This after all, was the 23rd day of trying! I would never recommend this Accredo Specialty Pharmacy to anyone! It is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I will never go back!

This company needs help. Had my medication shipped as I forced to use certain pharmacies for specialty medications. Gave my insurance, manufacturer coupon for the medication and was told I had zero copay. They shipped the medication in July and in December I have a bill for $1300. Called myself to make sure it was covered through insurance and they said that they needed a prior authorization on the medication. I work in the healthcare field and at the doctor's office that wrote rx so I did the prior auth myself to find that this medication needs to be run through my medical insurance. Called my insurance and they call accredo and got the word that they would bill under medication. Another month, another bill for $1300. I am literally on the phone right now with Sabrina, who seems competent and awaiting her research of my issue. They kept tell me they were running it thru BCBS of AZ, and I have BCBS of TX. They then tried to run it again and it says that I am not active, which is true but had that coverage during that time of service. PS the billing dept cannot change your insurance information on file but then has to be transferred to patient advocacy. I hope that I don't have to live the rest of my life on hold while Sabrina finds the answers. Wish me luck!

My experience with Accredo has been deeply disappointing and concerning. Their service displayed a shocking lack of compassion and professionalism in handling medication delivery, which is a critical healthcare service. The most troubling aspect was their complete failure to communicate - they never notified me that payment was required before delivery could proceed, never reached out about delivery delays, and left me completely in the dark about the status of my medication. The customer service experience was equally frustrating. Being forced to wait over 30 minutes on hold was bad enough, but the representative's complete lack of empathy or understanding made it even worse. In all my years dealing with healthcare providers, I have never encountered such a dispassionate and insensitive interaction. The representative's callousness was palpable, making an already stressful situation even more difficult to manage. They showed no acknowledgment of how these delays could impact patient health. A healthcare service provider should understand that their work directly affects people's wellbeing, but their actions suggested complete disregard for this responsibility. I strongly advise others to carefully consider whether they want to trust their medication delivery to a company that shows such disregard for patient care and communication. The complete absence of basic compassion or professional courtesy from Accredo demonstrates a fundamental failure to understand their role in healthcare delivery.

1 star because I couldn’t give 0. The most incompetent pharmacy imaginable. Should have a class action suit against them. Take weeks to “process” a prescription. Call multiple times and no one can give an answer as to what is the hold up. RIDICULOUS! DO BETTER!
