Accredo pharmacy actually could not be worse. If you have ANY other pharmacy option, use it. I've previously used cvs Caremark specialty pharmacy to fill my meds and the experience with Accredo couldn't be more opposite in the worst of ways. Unfortunately, my insurance provider changed with a new job so I had to use a new pharmacy to fill my prescription. As if dealing with new insurance and preauthorizations wasn't difficult enough, Accredo chooses to sneak under the already despicable low bar set by the insurance industry and just be bad at literally everything. Customer service- horrible. Wait times- horrible. Resolution- non existent. Oh you want meds? Don't think so. They have managed to lose my pre authorization for my script twice. They say they've escalated my issues only to find out THEY deactivated my account so my escalated issues sat in purgatory. I've spent over 13 hours the last month on the phone with them and gone without meds for 32 days because they are incompetent.

I have not been in a flair for several years. So, deciding to go from infusion to pen was an easy choice, until I had to deal with this pharmacy to get it. I have not received a singe dose of my medicine on time. Medicine that needs to be taken every 2 weeks on the dot. I am now in a full flair, and terrible pain. This time my medicine may or may not arrive 10 days after I am supposed to take it. To date, I call Accredo all the time. I have spoken to my insurance company multiple times (everything's good on their front), the drug company (they have had no issues with the prescription discount), my Dr. (Accredo tells them there are no issues whatsoever), and yet, I have not gone a month without having to repeat the process over again. Which means, I am not getting the correct dose of my medicine. Why is my prescription being delayed by more than a week every month? Beware this company.

In February of 2025 I was quoted a copay for my medication of $1.20 by 3 different Accredo representatives. Each one said my insurance benefits had been verified and all calls were recorded. I called my insurance company and they cannot verify until all information has been sent to them from the pharmacy. So, once Accredo did bill the insurance company, my cost went from $1.20 to $1,905.83. I have called Accredo over 10 times since Februray 12, 2025 and have been told several times that a call log was reviewed and a price adjustment would be made. However, I still keep getting bills for the $1.905.83 and have not used my medication yet. It is for Botox and was shipped to my doctor whom I will not see until this is resolved. Accredo will not allow returns I was told. I have records of each phone call, date, who I spoke with, and details. I keep getting the run around from each department I speak with and have been told several times someone would call me back and they never do.

Ordered medication on the 30th. Check email today; it prompts I should get delivery today. Check the stupid app; it says it was ordered YESTERDAY, with a new delivery date 7 days from now. I WAS NOT EMAILED. I WAS NOT CALLED. NO ONE LET ME KNOW THEY CHANGED MY ORDER WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. THIS IS THE WORSE RUN COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF WORKING WITH. Their response when I asked what I could do to prevent this from happening in the future? OH DON'T WORRY, THIS WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. Really? Doubtful. BTW, my medication is cold sensitive so, it was imperative that I be home to receive it. So, thanks for making me waste a day off because YOU can't do your ONE JOB. Their response was abysmal. Can't wait to get a refill next month; I'm guessing it's going to be even worse!

My experience working in a doctor’s office has been incredibly frustrating when it comes to ordering medications through this specialty pharmacy (ACCREDO). Despite the pharmacy claiming that all necessary information is entered, there’s a constant delay of 48 hours for updates. They give a delivery date, but the meds rarely arrive on time. When we call back, it’s always the same excuse, and after months of going back and forth, it feels like a gamble whether the meds will actually arrive. This ongoing issue not only creates a lot of stress for our office but is also severely impacting our patients who aren't receiving the treatment they need.

Absolutely horrible customer service and overall service. Every customer service provider is rude and unprofessional and seems to know nothing. On top of that, I’ve been waiting two months to receive my medication and they keep telling me i’ll receive a call back within 48/72 hours. No one ever calls me back. Absolutely horrible and they shouldn’t even be allowed to operate. I’ve wasted who knows how many hours trying to get a simple thing figured out.

A family member was waiting for THREE weeks for medication- nobody at Accredo gave us the same answer for the delay- then we would get a call that it was being mailed and would need to sign at delivery. We stayed at home just to sign then the meds would never arrive. We would call again and get differing excuses for why the medication was once again delayed. One representative asked me if I wanted to speak to a pharmacist. I asked her to explain the purpose of speaking to a pharmacist. She got an attitude with me and said, “It’s a yes or no answer!” I ended the call and contacted the doctor’s office. The nurse merged a call with Accredo and me, and the nurse finally gave up. The nightmare finally ended when the nurse set us up with a different specialty pharmacist.
