I am a heart transplant patient, I had a toxic reaction to one of my anti rejection drugs everolimus. I was in hospital for 2 weeks and rehabilitation hospital for 9 days. My new anti rejection drugs are tacrolimus 1mg and. 5 mg. As anyone with any knowledge of transplant drugs they have to adjust them till they are where the doctors want them to be. This requires blood work and adjustment of dosage. I was sent the everolimus not the tacrolimus. I have called many times to get the .5 tacrolimus, I run out in 3 days no sorry no let me help you, just a we can't get the tacrolimus to you for a week. This is the worst pharmacy to deal with and I will be getting my medication from a different pharmacy. I hope I can find an attorney that would bring a suit against Accredo, I would split the money 50/50 just to make them accountable.

They billed my dental plan, not health insurance for my first order. Which resulted in my having a balance. This messed up my deductible and out of pocket, and made my refill a no go. They put my effective date for my health insurance as April 25th not Feb 1st, so they could not rebill, and in order to update the information, they needed 10-15 bussiness days. And best believe, it took all 15 days. One rep told me to call back after 10-15 days to remind them to bill. They said they would override the balance since it was an internal mistake, which never took, for a week. Each day I set up a shipment and was told its coming tomorrow. And each day it got stopped. After one such scheduling, on the portal the delivery date said 7/7/1907! Then I asked to speak with a member of leadership, who told me that when they went to do the payment for the refill, the copay assistance cards funds were exhausted, so they couldn't send it out. If they had billed correctly, insurance would have come back at 100%, with no copay for th refill. So I am still awaiting my refill, I am a week late taking it, even though I originally placed the delivery for 2 weeks before I needed it, to avoid not having my meds. They keep transferring me, placing me on holds, and saying "I apologize for the inconvenience." It's not inconvenience. It's negligence.

Accredo is terrible. I don't understand how 3 different people can claim to setup shipment for medicine and it never arrives. Each time I call its 20 minutes of them verifying address and birthday and setting a date for medicine that Never arrives. No one has an explanation for why it never ships. Often after being on the phone forever, I'll get a text to "please call to set up shipping " after literally just getting off the phone.

This is the WORST company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The awful part is that they are responsible for delivering critical medication and patients do not get to choose who they obtain the medication from. The incompetence is EPIC. We need a specific prescription every 6 weeks and have been dealing with an insurance issue as well (denials & step therapy rules). It is worse than calling the IRS. Long hold times and the first person you speak to spends 10 minutes "reading notes" then reads from a script. If they give you accurate information, it will be a miracle. Often they give inaccurate information, requiring the caller to demand to speak to a supervisor, then sit on hold an additional 30 minutes while they "look for" a supervisor. Then, you repeat the story. This person reads the notes and reads from a slightly different script. Sometimes the 1st level supervisor can assist. Often, they cannot so you have to demand to speak to a pharmacist...... which does not happen. However, demanding a pharmacist will get you one step closer to someone outside the call center. Alternatively, you ask for the supervisor's supervisor. This is when you might reach someone who knows something or has some ability to assist. Every time we need a prescription it has taken 2-3 hours of phone calls to Accredo and messages to the doctor. I assume doctors spend a similar amount of time dealing with them. I think a big part of the problem is an overwhelmingly lengthy process to get a prescription filled. If at any point in the process there is a problem, nothing moves forward until a patient calls and demands action. It is a shame. This company causes outrageous unnecessary amounts of stress for people who are already under stress due to health issues. The call center........huge waste of time. It does not matter what you request in auto prompts... pharmacy, clinical, etc. Calls go to the same call center group regardless of answers to auto prompts. I could go on and on and on, but I will stop here. I am confident they are the worst specialty pharmacy in the business.

I’m kinda thinking they are fraudulent. I was approved of drug and got it monthly for 6-7 months. I start getting texts from them saying Before We Can Ship Your Medication, Please Call., They want a $3,500 co-pay but they’ll settle for $1,700. I asked what changed? Thank God I didn’t borrow and send $3,500. I was just going to drop it. I’m 80. I’m finished. It’s not working anyway. I’ll just move on. Then I get a text from the actual pharmaceutical and they just ship it like they have for 7 months. This Accredo claims that they do the shipping for pharmacy companies. I called the actual pharmaceutical company and NOPE they were shipping it from their facility. Last tip. The returnable ice cooler box says CREDO on it, not ACCREDO. So I still don’t know but I am certain they were trying to get me for $3,500. They don’t know who they are messing with.i never have $3,500

Script needed dr approval for refill, Accredo let me know (YAY)... I let Accredo know that I have an appointment in a couple of weeks and that for May, the Dr. would provide me with a sample and Accredo can pick up refills in June. Did that stop daily calls/texts...? No. I asked them to suspend for 30 days and all they could do was cancel the prescription and take me off the contact list. Those people have too much time on their hands, call/text too often and don't read notes or work with the patients... they are on auto-pilot to pump refills out and make their money... they are not about caring for the patient. And when I came on here to leave a review, turns out nobody else likes them either. Accredo, fix your operations!

For the 2nd time in 4 months my wife is missing her weekly does of an injectable because she ordered a script refill, they decided they had questions so they cancelled the order and reached out to the ordering physician who answered any questions. But Accredo did not fill the order and did not tell anyone. When we realized we did not get a delivery it was Friday afternoon and they wouldn't ship until the following Monday.

I'm a little upset that I even have to give them 1 star. Most of us are forced to use them due to our insurance company because I could never imagine choosing to work with Accredo. In the last 3 years they have made me miss my monthly injections at a minimum of 3 times a year. Recently they decided to discontinue my prescription altogether and try to blame it on my doctor's office. Then when another prescription was issued they just created an entire new account as if it were my first time using them. So here we are due another injection and they are now saying I need pre-authorization when it has been authorized at least twice a year because of thier incompetence. When I brought this up, yet again she said my prescription expires this week, when actually the last prescription sent expires in 2027. It is unacceptable how consistently they deprive its patients of thier medication because they are unorganized, untrained, and unprofessional! If you ever have a choice, DO NOT USE ACCREDO.
