Accredo calls and texts me daily, bordering on harassment, to refill my prescription, which I would be delighted to do, but it's all just a tease.
Each time I call, an agent who apparently has no access to the records from my six previous calls about this single order cannot actually order the prescription I was told to call and order because it's still processing. Or maybe there's another problem. They don't seem to have a definitive answer on anything.
Maybe it's covered by your insurance.
Maybe it was denied.
Maybe you need a prior authorization.
Maybe you'll need to pay out of pocket.
Maybe it's been cancelled.
We don't know. We just read the script, ask you the same questions again and again, and will need to have you call again tomorrow, so we can do this all again.
Every damn time.

I have been waiting 2 months for the…
I have been waiting 2 months for the first delivery of an injection for my knee that should have taken one week. I have called in and spent 30 to 45 minutes on the phone three or four different times, and I am told the same thing over and over again that because I am updating my insurance it will be 10 to 12 days before shipment occurs of the medication. I have never updated my insurance as it has never changed and I can never get anyone to actually complete and ship this order to my doctor. The prescription was written at the end of March. It is now the end of May and I still have not yet received this medication. No one one of the many people I have spoken to at accredo care in the slightest about filling my prescription. No one will even listen to the fact that it has been almost 2 months and they still haven't filled it once.

Stay away from these people
Stay away from these people. Terrible service no transparency. They send highly expensive drugs without revealing cost. I was actually told they couldn’t tell me how much the drug costs until it was filled and shipped. $2,990.00 a month. They know people cant pay that every month but if they can just get one shipment to as many people as possible they still make money. More importantly, they failed to disclose a black box warning (boxed label) only recently removed. Even the manufacturer indicates in their advertising that they don’t know whether the drug causes a specific cancer in humans. Completely undisclosed.

Avoid Accredo Pharmacy
Wish I could give Accredo Pharmacy zero stars. Their customer service has been the worst I’ve ever experienced. Every representative I spoke with seemed uninformed and provided inaccurate information. I even received text messages with incorrect details. For example, I was told my copay would be $3,622.78, when in reality it was actually $0.
I tried calling to get the issue corrected, but no one seemed to know what was going on. After finally getting it resolved, I was assured my medication would arrive the following week. That didn’t happen. Instead, I received another text saying my prescription still needed to be filled and that I needed to call again.
Once again, I contacted customer service and could barely understand the representative. She was reading outdated notes and couldn’t connect me with the right person to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to use this pharmacy. If you do have a choice, I strongly recommend avoiding Accredo Pharmacy.

Multiple Errors. Zero Accountability. Shameful Service and Response
Every experience with one simple prescription was awful. Most people at Accredo I spoke to didn't know what they were doing. I received inconsistent information from multiple people and was often told "you shouldnt have been told that." Multiple errors were made by Accredo, which supervisors admitted, but no one did anything about it other than make excuses. They took ownership of nothing at all. The incompetence, indifference and lack of professionalism was astounding. I was quoted an incorrect co-pay and it took months to get that addressed but still not fully resolved. This all seems to be standard for Accreco (Google "Accredo Reviews"!)

Medical Negligence and Administrative Chaos
I am writing this review to warn others about the severe lack of competence, communication, and follow-through at this specialty pharmacy. Because of their systemic administrative failures, I was left without my vital preventative medication for two full weeks and have been actively suffering from debilitating migraines as a result.
The primary issues I experienced include:
Repeated Billing Incompetence: For the second time in three months, the pharmacy repeatedly misbilled my insurance, running it as a standard prescription instead of a medical procedure. It took over 10 phone calls on my part just to get them to correct a mistake they had already made and supposedly resolved a quarter ago.
Useless Support and Empty Promises: The front-line patient care advocates are entirely ineffective. Things only move forward when a supervisor is involved, but even then, the supervisors make promises they do not keep.
Arbitrary Delays and Lazy Processing: After the billing issue was finally fixed, supervisors repeatedly told me they needed "three days" to process and verify the prescription. At exactly the three-day mark—with nothing resolved—they finally bothered to look at why it was stuck. It turned out the pharmacist needed a simple clarification from my doctor, a detail they sat on for days without notifying me, even though the order was completely correct on the Evernorth portal.
Disrespect for Providers' Time: When my provider's office kindly called within the hour to resolve the pharmacist's question, they were forced to sit on hold for over 30 minutes just to give a quick clarification.
Absurd Bureaucratic Hurdles: Even after the clinical clarification was resolved and despite having a $0 copay, the pharmacy still required me to call back yet again to manually "authorize" the release of the medication.
This pharmacy does not treat prescriptions like life-altering medical necessities; they treat them like low-priority paperwork. Their inability to manage basic insurance coding, combined with a total lack of internal communication, has direct, painful consequences for the patients they are supposed to serve. Avoid this specialty pharmacy if you have a choice.

Most incompetent company I've ever had…
Most incompetent company I've ever had to deal with. No stars deserves at all. I waste more time of the phone getting my prescription updates from bonehead customer service reps reading off of a script. I used to go through Optum Specialty Pharmacy and those guys were awesome! Then my insurance changed and now I'm stuck with these idiots.

This pharmacy service is awful
This pharmacy service is awful. I was forced to use it due to the requirements of my insurance coverage of a specific medication. When I called as directed to confirm use of the medication, they told me it was not covered by my insurance, even though I had the approval letter from my insurance provider. So that took more time and they had to review and call back in a day or two. When they did, I provided verbal consent to have the medication sent to my physician and to the increased copay amount. Then, a few days later, I received a call that the medication was not authorized and I had to repeat the whole process again. I was also kept on hold for a long time while they investigated until I suggested they call me back.
