It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. For three months, no one was able to properly set up my account. Whenever I called, no one answered, and I would only receive a callback the following day. Emails were often answered two days later, making the entire process extremely frustrating. I have already requested to close my account and that all of my financial information be removed. However, there is a serious lack of transparency regarding payment information. Once they charge your card, they keep it on file, and there is no option to remove or change the card from their system. Even after closing the account, I am concerned about continued charges. I am also still waiting for the refund I was promised. Overall, the lack of communication, transparency, and timely resolution has been extremely disappointing.

Our experience with this firm was highly disappointing due to inconsistent advice, aggressive upselling, and a severe lack of communication.Broken Promises & 4-Month Delay: I was completely ready to file my taxes on time without an extension. However, different people in the firm gave me conflicting thoughts, and they ultimately promised me that filing an extension would yield a better return. I decided to give them a try based on that promise. In the end, it took four months just to get my taxes back, and the return was actually a little bit less than what I originally got from the other firm.Aggressive Upselling & Lack of Responsiveness: The team aggressively pushed us to sign up for their monthly payment plans and marketing services. Because we chose to only do our tax filing without committing to the ongoing monthly fees, we were completely deprioritized. Our emails and phone calls were barely answered.Overpriced for Generic Support: We were charged an overpriced fee of $300 for basic tax filing, which is significantly more expensive than well-known competitors. In return, they were never specific about our state tax concerns and only sent generic, copy-and-paste emails.Ignored Feedback & Silence From Management: A customer service representative called us to evaluate their performance. We were completely honest about these communication gaps and explicitly stated we wanted a follow-up call to resolve our concerns. We intentionally held off on posting a bad review right away, giving them time to have a manager contact us. Unfortunately, that manager call never happened.Left to Figure It Out Ourselves: Because no one ever got back to us, I was left completely unaware of how to get my state taxes back. Out of pure frustration with trying to get a response, I ultimately felt it was better to just research and handle things myself rather than waste more time chasing them.We feel completely justified and obligated to leave this feedback now. It is clear this firm only cares about you if you submit to their monthly subscription fees. If you are a one-time tax client, expect delayed service, bad communication, and generic templates. We are actively looking for a new firm.
