We have obtained visas for nine countries and traveled to 66 countries, we have never had such an awful experience, both with the Indian government process and with A Briggs.
After many frustrating unsuccessful experiences trying to use the website to apply, we finally had to travel to San Francisco -- the nearest A Briggs office -- to apply in person. We made an advance appointment for the visit through the NYC office, but when we arrived in San Francisco no one was in the office. After waiting over an hour for someone to show up we called the NYC office to complain. Shortly someone appeared in the SF office and we finished the application.

Not impressed.
Botched my visa to Myanmar big time. I had to handle it overseas, it ended up altering my trip. Also gave me wrong information about a visa to the Andaman Islands. I expect a business who specializes in visas and passports to be proficient at their craft.

Wish they cared about the time sensitivity of my trip as much as I did!
I paid for expedited service for a Saudi Visa. Too bad my visa arrived AFTER my flight to Saudi, which I then had to rebook...imaging the cost of that!!!. The timeline on their website is misleading. The turnaround times reflect the timeline of the embassy - and doesn't actually include Abriggs' time to prepare documents to send to the Embassy. The promised time should start from the time ABRIGGS receives all the required information. It does not and they did not see this as a problem at all. Had they been more explicit and upfront I would have known what to expect. When I called to check on status, there was no sense of urgency. And the estimated delivery date changed every day...to the next day..so that was basically a lie everyday until it wasn't. I am not likely to use them ever again.

Paper pushers with no personal touch
No one advised us that our visa would be issued immediately even though we specified a later date. This caused us to lose 3 months time on our 1 year visa. Would not pay for this service again.

Not really sure what I paid for...
Needing expedited Visas for the UK, I knew that I could contact the British Consulate directly but didn't want to take any chances. I signed up for the expedited service for 2 Visas and paid over $700 to Abriggs for the pleasure. I followed their detailed list online (available free on the website) and sent a package to Abriggs, who couriered it over to the Consulate. There were delays which no one could explain at the Consulate, and other than having someone "check on the status" with the Consulate, there was "nothing that we can do" to expedite things further with the Consulate, I was told by Abriggs representatives.
I did ALSO pay the Consulate's expedite fee and understand that even though they took 3+ weeks to process the 2-4 day expedite, I am not entitled to a refund from them and Abriggs disclaims any involvement or ability to help with that situation either.
So, to sum up, I spent $700 to follow a free online checklist, mail my stuff to the intermediary who took my package over to the Consulate and then, 3 weeks later, picked it up and fedex it back to me... which the Consulate would have done for me if I have included the proper return packaging... so it actually took 2 days longer by using them.
I have my Visa just in time for my trip, so really I'm just out the extra $1,000 I spent on expediting between the two groups. Great and easy to understand online checklists, but questionable need for their actual service. Good luck and safe travels all.

service fluctuated every time I talk to customer service
Please do not rely on the aBriggs customer service because they treat you as if you are an alien ..and an idiot. they are indignant .. they promise one thing but do not fulfill their promise.

Don't trust to get consistent info
When applying for a Visa, I called the office one day and was given 1 set of guidance. When I called back 48 hrs later, I was told the previous info was not correct and I would not receive my Visa in time and to reschedule my visit. (Of course that was not possible.) When I asked why the first person provided wrong info, they just repeated...I do not know...absolutley no accountability from them.

Failed to meet expectations
Abriggs returned the wrong visa type to me with no prior warning or support in order to help me ensure that I could get the visa I required. Incredibly disappointing because I have used Abriggs consistently for four years to get China visas and in the past they have proactively reached out if there was any uncertainty from the embassy and provided the support I needed to ensure I got the right visa. I would have expected that the high price I paid to go through them would be met with a certain standard in terms of responsiveness and service.
