I just signed up for this and it’s a total bait-and-switch. I entered my address and it searched it and said I could save $1,285 on my taxes and that I was a good candidate for a reassessment. Once I paid and entered all of my information, it then told me that my property assessed for more than I paid for. Their AI system had access to that information before I paid so it charged me knowing I couldn’t save. I’m trying to get my money back.

It seemed like a no-brainer. Money back if it doesn't work? Read the fine print, money back in year #3. Got my tax statement and it CONNOT save me any money. In fact it looked at this data BEFORE I signed up, my taxes are slightly higher than last year, so what changed? Said I would save $750 That is simply NOT TRUE.

I used Abode for two houses. One had the option where they filed everything for me and the other I had to file it. I would give it good stars for the one where they filed it for me because I was abe to reduce my property taxes. But the one where I have to file doesn't really have much value because it is something I just do not have time for so doesn't help at all.

I input the info requested and they generated the wrong appeal due date (Dec 1 instead of Oct 26 and set the reminder for October 29!!!). I then called them and no one answered or returned any of my phone calls. Support did not answer any of my emails. I tried to cancel my subscription and it would not allow me to do so. Finally I got an automated email that the appeal was ready. However, It used comps that were way above the value of my home which would ensure my property taxes would go up. I called and emailed them several times again after that with no response. They left me in a huge bind. Abode Money is a big Ai scam. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

They were able to refund my entire subscription, even while I had a pending property tax appeal, when I ended up selling my rental during the appeal period. I was actually surprised they offered to refund they were pretty generous in that regard.

Great experience fast and easy

This company saved us some tax money from our city of Parkland which is overcharging residence on property taxes. my neighbor is around 7K and we are being billed just under 21K. Abode money helped us save $1500 off the huge tax bill we currently have.
