Each year we are told AARP gets us discounted health care through United Health Care and Prescriptions. Yet each year UHC raises our rates more than any COLA payments we get. I have stopped saying AARP for discounts since it is obvious I get increase rates from Hotels to Rental cars. AARP is a bad choice to make. I called UHC to complain with the most recent rate hike and was told that there is nothing that can be done. Rate hikes are across the board yearly for everyone. AARP is a joke and WE will not be renewing any more. We are reaching out to other heath care companies to find one more ethical than AARP or United Health Care.

How difficult is it to keep the website designed to accommodate a 5 year renewal working. Tried several times, and then resorted to a basic search of the generic website. Up jumped an entire page of sponsored ads for insurance of all kinds. The test of my tenacity was a bust...for them. I'll skip renewing.

I do not get why in the world AARP keep increasing the monthly fee when most of us are senior citizens on fixed income and we may have to choose between better health care OR eating and or rent etc..I for one WILL be looking into another health care plan elsewhere...

When you sign up AARP sells your email address far and wide. After you login to AARP website check your spam inbox to see the many emails you receive. What a disgrace.

Months ago, I decided to compare auto insurance rates to see if my rate was lowest. Incredibly, AARP's rate was $715 per month for a 13 year old car! Ridiculous! That's supposed to be a lower rate for Seniors! I won't bother to renew!

Trip to Las Vegas on Expedia, $325. Same trip on AARP $480. What cost savings for seniors? .
