Thomas and crew were amazing to work with. Efficient, great with communication and super responsive. David and Lee was the moving team and they were great to work with. Thoughtful and willing to get the extra step. Thoughtful guys who were fun to work with. Also, pricing was so reasonable. Was a great experience all around and highly recommend!

This was my first time hiring movers and these guys were awesome! They took just under 3 hours to move my whole house across town. Many thanks to the moving guys! They were professional, organized, and took great care with my stuff. They were very up front about pricing and there were no hidden fees. I highly recommend A1A Movers if you need movers.

If I could give them a negative review, I would. The hassle that these people put you through, WILL give you a headache. First off, they lie. They make promises about delivery dates that they KNOW they can't keep. I hired them for my move from FL to NY back in October for a move in November. They arranged my delivery date and the guys came late. They give you a bogus dispatch e-mail that NO ONE answers to. They contact you whenever they feel like it. My delivery was scheduled for early in the morning and after waiting for hours, they contact me and tell me that they made a mistake and that they went to pick someone else's move before mine in a different state. So they changed my delivery timeframe. They loaded my things up in the truck and of course, charged me more money because it took up more space than they thought. I was okay with that because I expected that. Then, my delivery date arrives and I dont hear anything from anyone. I call and call and not one single person answers or calls me back. Finally, they tell me that the "expected delivery" doesn't mean that thats when I'll get my things. They had my things in their truck and I'd get it within a few days. Those few days pass and again, playing cat and mouse for someone to give me answers. They call me back days later with another estimated delivery date. They did this several times. Finally, my actual delivery date comes and the timeframe I was given, the delivery guys didn't show up for... I left work early for this and the guys show up at about 10:30 pm. The guy shows up and says that they need to charge me more money because of the steps and blah blah. I get frustrated and tell him that I'm not giving him any more money because supposedly, on my contract, everything was accounted for. Finally, I give in and ask him how much extra it would be since I wanted to get this over with... he gets in his truck and LEAVES with my things. I had been sleeping in an empty apartment with my toddler and the assh*le just left with my belongings. He didn't answer the phone or text messages. The next day, I call the company and Stephanie answers with the most disgusting attitude in the world telling me that if I wanted my things, I'd have to pay over $1000 for the re-delivery and the steps and the extra walkway. And that I had to wire them the funds before they could reschedule me. So I considered it since I wanted to get rid of these people and then she says "but don't think that you're getting your things redelivered soon. We have to wait until we have a delivery going your way in order to come. We don't just send our guys out for one delivery." If you are doing a state to state move, I recommend that you DO NOT use this company. No one takes accountability for what they tell you. You never speak to the same people twice. When you call asking for someone that you previously spoke with, that person is never around. All they do is LIE LIE and LIE! Don't give them your money!

Dear Hidayra Ramos, We at A1A Movers apologize for any inconvenience! You scheduled a move with us on October 30th, 2018 for a pick-up window of November 23rd to November 24th, 2018. Your belongings were loaded up to for delivery on December 4th, 2018 and was sent off on a route that would pass by your delivery address. Delivery begins from the first, earliest requested date of delivery. You marked the earliest date for delivery as December 1st, 2018 which meant that we had seven full business days to facilitate your move and we accommodated your move as such. We attempted delivery the first time to no avail—you had rejected the first attempt at delivery during your conversation with the driver of your shipment Then we made a second attempt to go ahead and deliver your belongings to you to no avail. and then was charged the redelivery fee, the $1000 you had mentioned, merely because you failed to receive your items on the day of the first attempt and second attempt. After that delivery took place on December 12th, 2018 and your belongings left our possession. In terms of “not one single person answers”, We answer all incoming calls as we have numerous parties on the phone at any given time. There is no reason why the phone should ring and no one comes to answer your call unless you are calling outside of normal business hours. We provide a genuine service and all of our personnel are present unless assisting another customer or they have stepped away from their desks. There is no game of “cat and mouse” as you had put it. Again we do apologize for the misunderstanding but there is more to this than what was mentioned by Ms. Hidayra Ramos! Also all information was explained and at no time did we ever try to deliver at 10:30pm! All additional fees was to cover our expenses of having to unload and load the items 4 times, mileage, fuel and labor! Ms. Hidayra Ramos was only given a binding price of $1500.00 total, prior to attempting twice to deliver her items! (only on the third attempt we were able to deliver)

MOVING TRUCK HIT BY TRAIN! EVERYTHING DESTROYED! A1A MOVERS, LLC still has not reimbursed for moving expenses we paid 17 months ago. The moving truck got stuck on railroad tracks and a high speed train plowed through the middle of the trailer. Everything was destroyed and eventually taken to the land fill. The driver is okay and was issued a citation. TV news said there were 23 warning signs posted for truck trailers regarding the tracks. Numerous people assured us that if A1A was a reputable company they would do the right thing and compensate fairly for this great loss that was due to driver negligence. As of today, we can’t even get the moving expenses we paid reimbursed! After 17 months and a multitude of phone calls/emails we have been told numerous times “check is in the mail”. 13 weeks ago, Steve Goldburg, Vice President of A1A Movers, even a sent partial picture of a check and re-verified mailing address. It never arrived. 7 weeks ago, after contacting Steve several times again, he emailed us back “The other check was cancelled and I was advised that a new check is going out!” Still no check. In addition to the tragic train disaster, the following occurred: Items were picked up in Florida and we were told they should be delivered to Arizona in two weeks. 6 days after pick-up, Stephanie from A1A called and said the items were being held in Florida because the check bounced and they needed payment plus bounced check fees. Our bank confirmed check was cashed. After a day of phone calls and hassle, A1A told us the check WAS cashed by them and it bounced when they tried to cash a second time. A1A released items for delivery. 16 days after pick-up the items were still in Florida. 23 days after pick-up we were told the truck was finally on its way but it first had stops in Texas and New Mexico. 27 days after pick up we were informed that moving truck was hit by a train in Norcross, Georgia. You do the geography! It took A1A 3 days after the accident occurred to notify us. We later found out belongings weren’t even on a A1A truck. They were on a different moving company’s truck. 4 months ago, the other moving company’s insurance provider issued a check for $1,898 for the loss of household goods (a fraction of the value or .60/lb as we did not purchase extra insurance). It took a year of phone calls/emails to the insurance company. The check was sent, lost in the mail, and re-issued. We finally got it. We have never had a problem with mail carrier with exception of checks from A1A and insurance company. This claim is as legitimate as it gets with pictures, police reports, tv footage, emails from A1A and phone records. Yet, we can’t get the moving expenses that we paid reimbursed. I wish luck to anyone with damaged or missing items. I contracted with A1A Movers, LLC on behalf of my daughter who was moving from Florida to Arizona (she paid for move). I am writing to warn anyone considering A1A Movers, LLC. I recommended A1A Movers to my daughter and she lost everything she owned (she doesn’t blame me) and even though we have helped our daughter, as much as we can, she took a second job to rebuild her life and doesn’t have the time or energy to do this too. Moral of the story…. MOVER BEWARE! In many complaints filed against A1A, they request that the customer contact them to resolve. A1A has our all our info. They can contact us. A1A Movers, LLC is headquartered in Miami, Florida. According to their website they serve 25 states. On their website (a1amovers.com) they also acknowledge themselves as A1A Movers and Storage and A1A Moving and Storage. Update 7/2/19 Our contract was with A1A Movers. They are the ones responsible for our move and the ones that wouldn't reimburse the moving expenses that we had paid to them. I stated in my review that it was not an A1A Movers truck that was hit by the train. A1A Movers sub-contracted our move and we did not find out until days after the accident when we read the police report. Our complaint is with A1A Movers and our dealings with them from the day they picked up our daughters possessions. Items were held for bounced check that did not bounce, 2 week delivery time that was "no problem" yet truck was hit by train in week 4, and to add insult to injury we spent 17 months trying to get moving expenses reimbursed. After posting this complaint, and almost 18 months after tragic train accident, we FINALLY received reimbursement for moving expenses from A1A Movers. Immediately upon receipt of payment and during the next week I received numerous texts and phone calls from Steve of A1A Movers asking me to remove my complaint. Had A1A Movers spent a fraction of the time they spent AFTER payment and dealt with this matter, at any time during the preceding year and a half, our family would have been saved 18 months of anger, frustration and time spent constantly reliving and dealing with this ordeal.

Sorry for any inconvenience and the trouble! First, its not an A1A truck who caused this mayhem! We never had any trucks get derailed by a train or even an accident so extreme! Unfortunately it was our Interline Hauler (Smart Van Lines) ! A1A Movers did a full investigation and all claims were paid ($3600.00) ! The last check of $1200.00 was mailed twice and for what ever reason Ms. Richards did not receive it! I Steve Goldburg offered to do a direct deposit to Ms. Richards account but she did not want to ! We sincerely apologize for this unfortunate claim! We have paid all monies and all claims were closed! If there is any further complaints please contact me at 305-676-4600 EXT 107
