Working with 8fig was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in e-commerce. Their model is predatory — they pulled funding the day before a scheduled transfer, leaving my supply chain hanging with no notice or support. Zero accountability, just canned responses. I’m finally done with them now that the UCC lien has been terminated. Nasty company, nasty people. If you’re an e-commerce seller looking for a reliable growth partner, look elsewhere. 8fig will leave you stranded when you need them most.

One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. They trick you into signing a low APR contract, and then one month into the term, they hike up the rates by offering more funds. They divide the lending into cycles. I only received one; the second and third funding were pulled at the last minute, stating that their AI software was not having issues. Stay away as far as you can from this company. No customer service, no phone number to call. MAJOR SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost destroyed my 7-year-old business in a matter of a couple of months.

I am new to 8fig and just received my first payout. The onboarding was clear and the team answered my questions quickly by chat and email. The dashboard is easy to follow and the roadmap helped me plan inventory and freight. So far the process has been simple and transparent.

I think that’s important to note, because most of the glowing reviews you see online are written right after people receive funding—8fig actively pushes for reviews at that stage, when customers are still happy just to have the money. On the surface, 8fig presents themselves as an eCommerce growth partner, and the initial deal may seem fair. But the reality only becomes clear later on. If your sales don’t follow the perfect upward trend they expect—whether you hit a slow period, need to restructure payments, or require additional financing—their true colors show. That’s when they apply very high fees and restrictive terms that can put even a healthy business at risk. In my experience, 8fig’s tactics are less about supporting growth and more about exploiting businesses when they’re most vulnerable. Instead of being a safety net, they can quickly turn into a financial burden that pushes companies further toward the edge. If you’re considering 8fig, I strongly urge you to think about the full financing cycle—not just the initial offer. The long-term impact can be far worse than you expect.

DO THE MATH BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING! This is the biggest scam I’ve seen in the industry. 8fig’s offer is basically a 100% APR — that means you’ll pay back double what you received in just 12 months. I’m a 6-figure monthly Amazon seller, and I would never recommend this company to anyone. There are far better funding options out there that won’t destroy your margins or cash flow. Avoid at all costs.

We had a signed agreement with 8fig for three preset rounds of funding at pre-agreed rates. They only funded the first round, which was at the highest cost, and then backed out of the rest at the last minute, blaming “technical difficulties” just one week before the next funding was due. The whole point was to average out the cost of capital over all three rounds, but instead, we were stuck with the most expensive option and no way to plan around it. This is classic bait-and-switch. 8fig cannot be trusted—they don’t honor their agreements. Steer clear.

My biggest concern with 8Fig is the clause in their contract that allows them to delay or revoke funding at any time—even as close as a week before a scheduled disbursement. This makes it extremely difficult to plan inventory or manage cash flow effectively. In my experience, this unpredictability poses a serious operational risk, and I wouldn’t recommend partnering with them for funding.
