Not what you think
Had bought some sweats from Seventh Earth Studios before and quality seemed pretty good. A little sloppy on construction but overall ok. Dye bleeds out a lot. So then I bought sweatpants and a sweatshirt that said it was 100% cotton on website description. When they arrived the sizes were huge, Im talking ridiculous. Very very different than my previous purchase and not scalable. When I was looking at the tag it said 20% polyester 80% cotton. I told them and they said that the window had already closed to return. I replied that I had ordered 100% cotton not a blend. False advertising!!! buyer beware. Ps. they say its organic but where is the proof? they say the dye is Oeko Tex approved but where is the proof? The owners also have a post on Instagram stating how bad polyester is for your fertility and that "people as him all the time how he has so many kids" he states its by not wearing polyester. Fishy Fishy Fishy Update!!! I have proof that they are gaslighting me and other consumers! I would be so embarrassed if I were them acting like this and being wrong to boot. I wish I could include images of their product descriptions on their website but their description on the website IS STILL INCORRECT as of 4-13-25. (Trust Pilot does not allow links to be posted.) ............................................. "X28 Straight Leg Pleated Sweats Ivory Description Model size: 6ft, wearing Large. Crafted with our custom heavy-weight cotton fleece, utilising natural mineral dye that is approved by Oeko-Tex. A fleece that is unique with a distinct lustrous finish on the outside yet buttery soft inside. Straight leg cut, prominent pleats. Street wear with a touch of formal. 100% cotton fleece, 400GSM heavy weight" ............................ They clearly did not put polyester on the description. It says 100% Cotton. Polyester was only listed for one item I had bought that was a different style X27. They are making up a fake scenario making it seem like I cant read descriptions, yet they are the ones not proofreading their copy. Their analogy of buying one car and receiving another car is exactly my point. LOL. I thought I was buying a luxury car, but ended up with a Prius. I missed the return window the first time because I tried to send back due to a horribly large sizing issue. I made peace with that and kept them. When I was going to wash them after they had been in the box for 3 months, I saw the tag stating that it was a poly blend. I sent them photos of the tag and their current website description at the time clearly showing the false advertising. They hassled me quite a bit and after lots of intense back and forth and stating FCC rules they let me return them. All could have been avoided with proper descriptions. As you can see they are very intense and rude. I would not recommend interacting with them. Even after bringing the issue to their attention, they never fixed the website description. Even if they were phasing out the collection, people still thought they were getting 100% cotton.

Jordan, As the owner of the company I am addressing this directly. We have different product lines and the product line you purchase was 400GSM 80/20 cotton polyester blend which is stated clearly on the website. Our X-series. Had you had an issue with this order our team would have refunded you within the return period however you reached out 3 months LATER. Our organic cotton blanks are the Y series and T32 blanks which is clearly stated on the website. It does not matter what you think you ordered you as a consumer could read the product page and see that you were ordering an X-series blank which does not say organic cotton or 100% cotton except for the shell facing of the garment and an inner lining of 80/20. This is an absolute ridiculous accusation towards us after our bullet proof transparency at each level. This is like going into Toyota and then purchasing a prius and getting mad you didn't get the 4x4 truck. Read the descriptions then order. As for ALL of our certifications; GOTS organic cotton is from our yarn mill. The Yarn mill gets the certification on the yarn we purchase as well as their entire supply chain. We purchase the yarn from them which allows us to get the transactional invoice of purchasing organic yarn from their mill which is then constructed into our garments in our factory on the garments we state are Organic cotton. This invoice is provided to US customs upon importing the garments and exporting the garments. The fact that they are sitting and shipping from USA to our customers is enough of a testament of its validity. Showing this transactional proof of purchasing organic yarn gives away the mill we purchase from as well as the yarn construction which is a terrible secret to give away in the garment industry. OEKO-TEX same as above but specific to the DYE house where dye and finishing takes place. SEDEX fair trade certification this is a certification specifically issued to our factory here in Pakistan with our factory name and relevant auditing organization. Again another certificate we only provide to relevant government agencies or clients that manufacture at our facility and require this proof. Not every day consumers like yourself who we can not trust with this information. Anything Else? Take care and learn to read descriptions before ordering.
