I started volunteering as a listener at 7 cups as a requirement for school, but now I do it just to help out. The people at 7 cups are so friendly. Their main concern is to make sure that our members are always treated with empathy and respect as well as compassion. They are there to guide you through everything and are genuinely good people. I plan to continue volunteering from now on!

I'm currently working as a listener. The work that this site does is so important, especially in unpredictable times like this. Bravo!

Hi. Myself a Verified Listener here, and My Journey in 7Cups started 6 Months ago. I have to say this website is something which is very genuine and helpful for those who are yearning for a closure and emotional support. I have met some amazing people who have been very supportive in my "LIFE". You could actually get a gist of what I'm saying, people here are someone who understands each other emotionally and that's what the world needs more, mental health is more important. Every good thing needs a constructive criticism too, As a Listener, I feel like there's no actual benefit of being one, we do because we like to help people out there by Volunteering, but maybe getting some benefits like free Therapy session with Therapist would be very nice for someone who Volunteers themselves to help others and the Website. This website helped me alot when I was going through so much pain and suffering emotionally.

it's a wonderful website and so many kind and good people are there and trust me it makes you feel so safe if you guys are feeling troubled about something but don't have anyone to talk to about this is the perfect place to vent out and talk to the listener and the listeners are so diligent and they will listen to you without giving any advices so overall I love this place and it's a safe place if you abide the rules and regulations and I am pretty sure everyone will love it there:)

The idea of this web is great, but... I am a female listener there, I came to volunteer with a will to help and support, however I was harassed so many times by various members. Some of them get blocked and then come back with a new account. Also, any proper support for listeners is ongoing, listeners basically are volunteers, and have zero benefits from this web, spending their free time there. This way not so many good listeners want to stay there for a long time. Benefits would be great, maybe a free chat session with a therapist or so. This would definitely be more motivating and encouraging.

I felt so out of touch and didn't know where to turn to for help when a friend mentioned seven cups. I was skeptical when i heard about it but decided to try it. I was practically instantly connected with a listener, who I learned are volunteers. And peers. It turned out to be just what I didn't know i was looking for. I found it even as a new member of the seven cups community. I like not having to go anywhere for a certain set time to connect with someone when i am feeling the need to talk about something. Basically having seven cups gave me the platform to figure out what i was missing through peer support. It is really a wonderful service and not difficult to do.

7 cups is an amazing, inclusive community where all are welcome.

The website really helps people who need someone to lend them an ear. Some of the listeners are very enthusiastic, empathetic and kind.
